Funny, I also made pizza in my toaster today! I used two pieces of sliced bread and smushed them flat and then I added a bit of tomato sauce and cheese and bam! Pizza! Having two slices instead of one really helped prevent the bread from getting soggy, and the underside was nice and toasted!!
Depends on the toaster oven you get. Some of the small ones probably only need 1000 Watts. Mine is a midsize so I have a 2000 Watt inverter and it does very nicely with it. When you’re shopping for an oven, look on the box, it should tell you how many watts are needed to operate it.

I haven’t tried it like that. I always have bread though, more often than flatbread. That’s a good tip.
