- Hello everyone,
Another fun filled trip - this time staying in a Suffolk farmyard.
It was absolutely brilliant - we had a wonderful three nights at Minden House Farm near Halesworth in Suffolk.
We stayed in the yard next to the stable and a few yards from the cow shed. We loved every minute.
The site is called Minden House, a Camping and Caravanning Club CS and it's near the pretty town of Halesworth in Suffolk. It a twenty minute bus ride away from the stunning seaside town of Southwold. We've visited Southwold a few times over the last few years and it's become one of our favourite places in the UK.
So join us on our trip and come and meet the cats, horses and cows on the farm. Plus a bus trip to the seaside at Southwold.
This was a wonderful short trip and we will be back!!

Cows are my biggest fear too!! 😨 That was a nice little site and close to another town to walk to.
Love a bus ride you sure do get to see more.

Southwold is great - we only visited in about five years back and we've been back a couple of times since. Love it there Anna, like going back in time. And yep the buses are so cheap and easier to get around - no worrying about park ups etc.
We're like kids at Christmas waiting fo Scotland. Not long now!!
You need to eat more steak and hamburger so the cows will be afraid of you! LOL Cool tour of the area. that church was beautiful and had some nice architecture. That old red telephone booth was super cool. Those are an antique around here. Nice road trip and lots of interesting places visited. The beach and lighthouse were awesome. Nice pin striping down the side of the RV. Kristy gives me that same look when I get too close to the branches. LOL Fun adventure. Have a great day.

Thanks for watching! It really is a lovely area. Southwold is like going back in time! Lots of Victorian and Edwardian properties and quaint shops.

Ah yes, the cat was cute Soren. There were a couple of others too but they were pretty wild and kept their distance.
It was a fantastic place to pitch up. SO beautiful around there!!

It was a wonderful place to stay. We loved it there so much h. And Southwold is such a beautiful town!
Nothing wrong with waffle LOL. Lindsay would be no where near that horse. Yes those sheds go for a fortune up here. We preferred the CL/CS networks when we had the caravan.
😃😃 The Horse was literally right next to the van - it was brilliant!! The owner warned us that the cows may wake us up. They didn't but the Horse did get a bit fed up waiting to be put out. He was our 7am alarm😃
Those Southwold Beach Huts Dave, utterly bonkers!!!!
@@NBNatureTrailvan Last time I looked the ones in Findhorn were going for £125,000. Hell of a price for a shed.

Very pretty! I'd be in there with the horse! Still a little damp, but not enough for a good swim as in your last episode! lol Now I could sure go for a beach too...wonderful! Skies clearing and fish and chips too! On to the next adventure!!
Ha yes the Horse was very close!! In the mornings one of the Barn Cats came to the stable and they had a good ol chat!! 😃😃
Nice place - Southwold is like a throwback to Victorian \ Edwardian times. Lovely place and a great vibe to it.

Have to say we think we agree with Sue, this is our favourite site we have seen you guys stay at yet. But then, like you two, we are never happier when we are somewhere quiet, and preferably surrounded by animals!❤🐾. What a beauty Zulu the horse was! 🐎. And such a friendly farm cat 🐈😻. Well done for facing your cow phobia Dave😂🐄👍. Walk into town looked nice, lovely pubs! Always a treat to go for a nice pub meal out. Pete rather enjoys a pint of ghost ship, even in the bottles🍻. Wow southwold beach was beautiful 😍 ⛱️. How much for a beach house?🤯😱. That is more than our house is worth! 🏠. You two sit at our favourite bus seats too, top deck, on the front left😊 🚍. Cheers guys. This place was brilliant! The owner warned us beforehand that the cows might wake us up, but it was Zulu the Horse chatting to one of the cats that was our alarm call 😃😃
Two of the cats were near wild but the little white one was very friendly.
Yes the cows were fine as long as they were kept in the barn 😃
Southwold is so beautiful- it’s only our third visit - it’s a bit like going back in time - and the Ghost Ship was very nice indeed! 😃
Apparently, Southwold is one of the most expensive places in the UK - a beach hut went a few weeks back for £300k 😮😮. Completely crazy. Each plank of wood must be about £3,000 each 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
The buses we’re taking are a revelation - they’re so cheap and convenient!

You sure got around to a few places but managed to fit some pints in. It's an area I've never been to but looks quite lovely with the quaint villages. I'm not too bad with cows they're usually docile. Did I see a lot of speeding 😂The video was lovely jubbly 👍

Yep that area of Suffolk is really beautiful. Lots of chocolate box villages dotted around. Ha yes F1 Florrie and the Ghost Ship was very good 😃

Hi Dave and Sue, this looked a nice stay at the farm, not keen on cows, but love horses. A lovely walk around the town. The look inside the church was stunning, beautiful stained glass windows. The pub looked a good place to stop. The beach and sea at Southwold was beautiful. A lovely day out. Nice weather too. Thank you for showing us around x Julie and Tony x

I was in Southwold a few weeks ago! Lovely place and yes I noticed the prices of the huts! Will be doing uploads on the area soon also 😊
It’s crazy isn’t it. Couldn’t believe it!! We saw a couple of carpenters repairing one - a couple of the front struts. Very expensive pieces of wood!!! 😃
We also prefer the smaller sites to stay on, looks like a nice place to visit with a lovely beach, was shocked when you said how much the beach huts are now 😮 Enjoy the rest of your week,

The Beach Huts are crazy - we found out that one has gone for £300k!! When we walked past them, there was a couple of guys repairing the front wooden struts on one. So those pieces of wood would have been worth about £5k each 😃
That is crazy money for a beach hut 😨 even if they are beautiful! Stunning location though and love the site. So peaceful 😍 can’t wait to follow the Scotland adventure and share a few with you later in the year too! 🥰
Yep it was so lovely Sah. No noise apart from the animals and the birds.

What a great farm to park your caravan. Love all farm animals, but that white cat was so sweet. Guess she’s not a wild barn cat. They usually aren’t that friendly. Nice town. Beaches are the best. Those ski food were out on a rough day. 😂😊
It was a fantastic stay. The owner was worried that we would be woken by the cows, but they were fine. The Horse did call to be put out early on each morning but that was fine too!!
Ah yes, lovely little cat - there were two barn cats, but they kept their distance.
Southwold is wonderful - we first there a few years back - it's a bit like a Victorian seaside resort - all very sedate and quaint. But so very expensive - crazy prices for those little Beach Huts, we couldn't believe it!!

Lovely....coming from Suffolk i know the Southwold and Walberswick area well...nice to see you got the classic shot of the Lighthouse...Good old Adnams...my fave would be the Broadside...Don't think i have ever been to Halesworth, it looked a nice little town.

We did the Adnams brewery tour a few years back. Didn’t take to Ghost Ship at that time but that well kept pint was a beauty. So will definitely be going for more of that. Broadside sounded good too - nice strength 👍👍
Halesworth was a pretty little place. We really enjoyed the trip even it was only three days. 👍👍

Well done folks, another lovely video showing your adventures, as David said I would be no where near that horse, don't do horses at all... they scare me a lot.. Bring lots of warm and waterproof clothes on your trip to Scotland. The weather is not warm at the moment and it is still very wet unfortunately. Looking forward to seeing your adventures up here. Thanks Lindsay. Yes Sue is the same with Horses. She’s fine with Cows (unlike me), but warns me off Horses as unpredictable beggars 😃. I have no idea 🤷🏻♂️
Yep it’s been so wet here too, hopefully things improve in the next few weeks 🤞🤞🤞. We’re bringing lots of warm and wet gear - we don’t know anything different in the van, so far! Don’t think we would know what to do if it was dry and warm 😃

I must say I’m no fan of 🐄 cows either, having had a few bad experiences over the years 😅. Southwold looked lovely in the sunshine, always a great place to visit, but I think only people with more money than sense would buy one of those chalets at that price.

How nice was that coast 👌 not sure I’d like to be on a jet ski in this weather.
I agree with sure regarding the site as I’d much rather a smaller more intimate site, especially as it’s more in touch with the countryside. 👍
