What makes this really bad is the fact that there are SO MANY people in this area ( like myself ) live below 20k a year due to a disability. I had to spend my rent money on just surviving the 7 days and 6 nights of no power or water. No Internet, no phone service except in certain locations that you have to travel to and sit. I don't know how I'll make it this month, I spent my bill money to survive ! Fresh food every day, charcoal and lighter fluid, had to eat everything you bought or it would go bad. I've put it in Gods hands

I’m on the North Carolina and South Carolina border and I’m a ham radio operator. We, I mean a ton of Hams, came out and saved a ton of people coordinating emergency voice traffic to EMS.
Thank you for doing that. not a lot of hams out there anymore. my dad used the CB radio when he was driving semis. I still remember his handle and listening to him chatting with others on the road. cqcq I hear you and thank you
@@margiemurray2147cb radios or ham radios is affordable technology but also not produced in the USA any more. I assume somewhere on the internet you can buy them, I am sure Amazon will find a company because they always do, but still it’s not the internet, it’s limited reception & very local. It’s primitive technology when wireless & wifi via satellite is the path for our future. This whole concept of cell towers is expensive & outrageous & easily replaced by a series of satellites encircling the globe. I mean SpaceX makes money from NASA contracts but it’s not how the company survives. They survive because STARLINK can give communication within a country whose communication ability was destroyed in 1day by a psycho serial killer named Vladimir Putin. The only reason Ukraine is winning the war is because STARLINK hooked them up, at first for free, but it ain’t free any more. So who is making money in outer space right now? Elon Musk because he owns 100% all of SpaceX & SpaceX owns STARLINK. Trust me I a, not an Elon supporter. He is a pig, a narcissist, an attention whore. But the Ukraine war saved his dumb ass.
Thank you for the link to Operation Airdrop. I'm 60+ and not much help here in NJ, but money I gots. So I give. Prayers to everyone effected by Helene. Thank you for the information. Stay well and safe.
Thank you and please let people who want to give money know not to give money to federal agencies. There's lists of local charities, all include operation airdrop inc and Samaritans purse to name a couple.
It is so heartwarming to see how Americans are supporting each other. That's all we've got - God and each other. God bless and multiply your blessings and provision and everyone who is helping.
@@colinl5951 So what you're suggesting, Republicant, is that we end social services like FEMA, and the NOAA? What will you do when you have zero warning of incoming hurricanes? Oh right, that's the NOAA's job. Maybe we shouldn't end them just because Trump is upset they laughed at him for drawing on the hurricane map. Maybe accurate weather is a good thing... hmmm.. Vote blue or get screwed.
This just shows people can't believe the Media and Politicians in America about divide. They want us to run scared all of the time. They are the problem..

Samaritan's Purse is taking donations to help all areas affected. Glad the lake was ready for the massive water level changes! God bless you both and your families!
Huge salute to TVA planners and maintainers/checkers......huge gratitude....230 souls saved on the pigeon forge and French broad River at Incredible Tiny Homes....water came just up to the community of tiny homes, but everybody is okay....braced for the worst, so grateful for TVA water planning and management....thank you TVA
After watching so many videos of what happened to you all in WNC, TN and the rest of the area, I felt compelled to comment to you, and to the people of the area there. This natural disaster is of a magnitude that, thousands of years from now, geological digs will know your story from the layers of sediment. History will always remember this time by the layers of the Earth. Sadly, you'll never be able to dig everything out. You'll never be able to rebuild everything to be exactly as it was. Your lives will be changed forever. You will come to live a new norm, but you will never forget those terror filled hours. You will always remember. Just know that from darkness comes the dawn. Through this terrible tragedy, you have come to show this nation exactly how resilient you truly are. You define the meaning of the word community and you embody the definition of strength. We, here in Southwest Washington state, know what you've been through. We had to overcome when another historic geological event happened in1980, when Mt. St. Helens erupted. The Toutle River Valley was completely destroyed by the largest landslide in the recorded history of this planet. The course of the Toutle River was changed and Spirit Lake completely disappeared. Mt. St. Helens went from 9677 feet to 8307 feet. She lost 1370 feet. She spewed out 540 million tons of ash that, when it rained, turned to mud. The mud. How well we remember the mud. It looked like the moon here for so long. Your rivers will run different paths now. Your mountains have changed shape and are several feet shorter now. Your area is forever changed just as ours has been. Stay strong! Southwest Washington state knows what you're all going through. We overcame and you will, too! We see you. We hear you. We feel you! We can't afford much, but I donated some to you. I know it will be used for things that help out people. I wish it could be more.
@@PAMELAPORTER-ci7mrThank you. We’ve removed him from the channel & hidden all his comments. He left over 60 snarky political comments under people’s kindhearted well wishes. Insane…
Words of truth sad that we as humans have to go through this. But in the end these people will overcome and will be stronger than before. Like you Washington you lost and yet you triumphed in the end, yes it took time, but you all did. Many anguishes and tears but you all worked together to become a strong people. Blessings
I’m a lifelong NC’er and my husband is from TN, an hour south of Knoxville. TVA did a miraculous job in minimizing the damage. I know that means nothing to those who lost everything but I can’t even imagine how bad things would’ve been without TVA’s management. Just bc your home was spared doesn’t mean you won’t be impacted as you pointed out. Tourism feeds a ton of us in TN/NC so I pray God provides your every need. You deserve a Starlink sponsorship!! 😂 Just found your channel today and I’ll be back 👍🏼 I hope things continue to go well for y’all.
The Cajun navy is also a good reputable org. They have been going into hard to reach places with pack mules . They are known for going into hard to reach places.
You are REALLY GOOD at reporting. Although we can't look past this terrible tragedy you are covering, you're better at it than 99% of the TH-camrs out there.
Please continue with whatever information you are able to get. You are kind of like the inside source because we're not getting it from the Mainstream media. Also, interview any friends who were affected. Smaller news networks like Real America's Voice, Newsmax, OAN, etc., might pay for your coverage. Get the message out!

Thank you so much for your help. I live in McDowell County below the Sprucepine area. Much love and prayers from Greenville SC!! Heart broken for all who've lost everything and grieving all that's lost from the wonderful people, historic land marks and special places that can't be replaced.
Thank you for highlighting this! The day after the storm my friend who lives in Black Mountain/Asheville was able to get out and she drove to our friend’s house in Charlotte and all of us here in DC & other parts of the East cost donated money for them to buy supplies for mammas and babies and they drove it all back and dropped it off within a day. Our other friend on Lake Norman has a neighbor who has his own helicopter. He’s been flying out every day dropping supplies and rescuing stranded people. The government takes a while to set up the infrastructure to support the workers and the supplies -especially when you can’t always anticipate where and when the storm will hit and then they are stymied by the same obstacles-mountain roads & bridges destroyed, dangerous areas that they can’t send people into yet, all those issues that are hindering everyone else hinders them too. They will ramp up and get the help there. But right now it’s the every day folks who are doing their best to help out. It’s amazing how many supplies my friends were able to drop within 48 hours. And up here in DC -our Costco is out of paper products completely-so I know where those went. It’s times like these we have to remember how much good is out there. Everyone is doing their best to help. It warms my heart! ❤️
@olderwiser64 thank you for such an insightful and sober comment. It's much needed. I'm from Sylva, but live in the piedmont now. My family is all up there. They have all done okay, as well as my friends in the area. I was fortunate enough to spend Labor Day weekend with some friends in a boat house on Fontana a few years ago. It's good to see that that area did pretty good.
Thank you so much for your help, & your friends too! ❤ truly so inspiring to see so many people from all areas & walks of life pitching in. Thank you thank you thank you 🙏
The government (employees), utility co. (employees), and the emergency response service (employees) are in the same boat as ordinary citizens, which is a big reason why there are huge delays in organized help arriving. If there is no cell service, power or water, it's best a community gather at fire houses and ask how they may help & relay information about their neighborhoods directly to them and pull together as volunteers to lighten the load for all. Chain saws and backhoes to help clear the roads are needful once waters recede enough.
It takes a village and thank goodness we have good people here in NC and in all the surrounding areas helping to donate time, money, and support during such epic disasters. Donating through churches, schools, wherever you can, is worth it to anyone in Western NC who has literally nothing but the clothes on their backs. God bless you all!
I'm in Eastern NC. We had 4 tractor trailers traveling to the Asheville area. We are about 6 hours from the areas of devastation. Donations are continuing to pour in. We will send trucks as long as there's a Need. #NorthCarolinaStrong
@colinl5951 I'm 6 hours away collecting donations and packing the trucks. Sorry, I can't answer your question. Our drivers unloaded at a drop off point east of Asheville. Citizens like you and me were helping to unload... No law enforcement or FEMA there. ( at least for the few hours our drivers were there) Our drivers asked ... we'd like at least one or 2 of our trucks to be unloaded more west. Tennessee is devastated in many areas as well.. they were told roads are impassable in most locations east of Asheville. They assured us the supplies are being sent to ALL areas in need ( including Tennessee) We have 3 more trucks filled. I'm sure the 4th one will be full later today so our drivers will be headed west again Sunday morning 😊 😁 Have a great weekend 💕
I’m sooo glad I found this channel!!! I’m so proud of both of you and you remind me of my wife and I back in our younger days. I’m a disabled Desert Storm Vet and I’m about 20 miles S.E. of Greensboro and live in my Coach full time. I was actually supposed to arrive at a campground in Barnardsville NC 2 days before this hit but I had a guardian angel watching over me again and I snapped an accelerator cable and had to delay the trip till I could get repairs made. I’m sitting here feeling really guilty cause I’m not somewhere in the affected area helping with something, even if it just means letting others plug in to my generator or setting up my outdoor kitchen and smoker and cooking for anyone that’s hungry. There’s gotta be someway I can help! I can not work 16 hours a day doing the tough, heavy work like I used too but I’ve got skills and experience that can help make life easier for someone. I got hit by a tornado in June 1998 in Iowa just two days after buying our new property and old farmhouse. Long story short, I lost everything in the blink of an eye and have never truly gotten over that so I understand what our neighbors have floating through their minds when they look out and see their home and possession’s scattered for 6 miles and my heart is breaking for them. If there is anything I can do to support y’all from up here just let me know but if you need extra hands anywhere In the affected area, I’m here to support anyone and I will get packed up and come. I can’t donate financially cause I’m on disability and I barely make it month to month but I can give you as many hours a day as the lord will bless me to work and be proud to do anything. I spent 10 years as a jet engine mechanic in the Air Force so even if the flying groups need help with anything aviation wise, I’m able to help, just let me know if you here a need. Take care guys, I subbed your channel and I’m proud of y’all!! I used to spend most summer & fall time in Rainbow Springs just west of Franklin at my buddy’s cabin snd over the last 10 years developed a deep love for that entire area from Black Mountain to the state line of Tennessee & Georgia so I know the terrain well and know what I’m getting into. Be safe guys, we need good young folks like you with good heads that can help lead in times like this. I’ll keep praying for all of ya till I find another way to help and I’ll watch all your videos to help a little that way as well. Take care!!
Volunteering with Air Drop in Concord at the Walmart and the airport. A "well oiled machine" of total strangers coming together for one purpose - aid to our western neighbors.

I went to college at University of NC at Asheville. It is without a doubt the home of my heart. Western North Carolina is a place like no other. My heart is breaking for the wonderful people of the region and at how much has been lost. I see places I lived and worked and played just decimated. Thank you so much for what you are doing!!!
Thank you for this EXCELLENT video. It is the best out here. You really offer peace of mind and hope in your presentation as well as giving others a secure way to help. This event has been tragic and devastating in so many ways. I pray eyes were opened for the sake of the country and our posterity. It is a beautiful thing to see people come together and work together and unite in strength and spirit. The American spirit.
That’s who I was going to say they are working not too far from you guys black mountain bat cave area I believe. Oh how I wished I had a star link this week just to know what was even going on around me all I knew it stormed bad and everything was dark as far as I had gas to drive was like day 3-4 before we really started to see what major damage was around us :( so sad glad you guys were safe!!! God was with many and still is I know that.
Yes!! My daughter is volunteering with them near her home in NC and she is letting us know what all they are doing. Go to the website and sign up to help!!
Maybe this isn’t what you meant but please don’t spread the misinformation about how no one is helping. This video literally showed Army rescue helicopters trying to reach people
I'm glad yall are safe. I was busy doing FEMA loads bringing in generators and other stuff to Ashville and surrounding communities. It's horrible. I did FEMA loads for Hurricane Francine and I thought that was bad but this was unprecedented. By far the worst destruction I've witnessed in person. My heart goes out to the families and friends affected especially those who unfortunately lost their life in this. I found yall like 2 weeks ago and this has become my favorite TH-cam channel. Can't wait to see what yall do with the 2 cabins this winter and maybe (hopefully) I'll be the buyer of one of them.
This is the absolute BEST reporting on this horrible disaster I've seen yet. You're so informative and have such a helpful spirit. Thank you so much... everything is going to get better. Keep playing with the littles and furries as often as possible, they'll really help with refueling the spirit cups. Sooo much love to all of you and all the HELPFUL. 🫂
I’ve been thinking of you guys as I’ve been watching (from New York State) what’s been happening to the poor people of western N.C. and elsewhere. So thank you for taking the time amid all this to update your community. And for putting so much work into showing us life on the ground. I saw on local news reports that aid workers were having a hard time getting supplies to remote areas. So I’ve already donated to Operation Air Drop several times directly through their website. I was happy to see they get your endorsement!
I live just west of Asheville NC and I've never seen anything like this. I think the last time something like this happened was the great flood of 1916. On average we got 17 inches of rain in 24 hrs some got as much as 30 inches. And it all runs downhill into the valley. They are saying over 200 dead and 300 missing/unaccounted for, in NC alone. When the final number is known I think it will be in the thousands for the whole. Bless you
I truly thought yall would have to evacuate. What an incredible miracle for the lake. Excellent water management. Exceptional eyes on the weather, whoever that may be. I also survived unscathed on the east side of Boone. The orographic effect did not hit us due to not having any high peaks behind us. God bless the hollers. This is Katrina but with a handful of spaghetti noodles thrown at the map. Across 5 states. Glad yall faired well. I wish patience and goodness to everyone here in wnc. We only have each other💚
From New Orleans, and totally agree... New Orleans was actually flooded AFTER landfall.. one of the reasons was a barge hit a levee... And the rest of our " relief" canals basically failed.. 80 percent of the city was flooded... Also below sea level doesn't help..
US Cajun Navy seems to be doing a lot of good. They have an Amazon wish list. You can donate what you want and it will be shipped to a NC location. Also know the neighboring communities are doing amazing work collecting needed items and transporting to the areas that need them.
I live on Douglas Lake. This dam was never in danger of breaking. Nor was Cherokee. Watauga was threatened, but not expected to break, either. Knoxville and the Tennessee valley were not in danger.
@brendasnow8255 you voting Harris too huh? If one dam breaks the overflow would easily collapse anything in it's way including the next dam. Then 2 dams worth collapses the next. We got lucky.
You're a really good narrator, and your voice is good for it too. God bless you and everyone bringing more and more awareness to and raising more money to help these poor folks; But of course, Appalachia is doing exactly what we'd all expect and know they'd do. Coming together and rising above the challenge and looking out for each other regardless if they know each other or not. Obviously we all wish nothing like this would ever happen but at least there's a silver lining in that it always brings out the best of America and it's amazing people.

My friend lives in Ashville. They do not know when there will be water. So much of Chimney Rock is gone. Here in Charlotte people are doing all we can to send whatever aid we can. 💔
Nothing is gone there that can't be rebuilt.... All man made, material things are the only things that are " gone".. the rock itself is still there, and the spirit of the people who built there in the first place... Ask the good citizens of New Orleans.... When you ❤ a place... You will find a way... NOLA born and bred... God bless everyone up there⚜️♥️
I’m so grateful y’all are OK. I’ve been watching the rest of NC, where my friends and friends of family are and I also feel like I’m not doing enough. I 🫶🏻 y’all!
Thank you for including a general sense of the catastrophic destruction to the region. I sit here in Chicago where very few natural disasters are even possible and climate change has not altered much for us, and watch the news of this devastation with great sorrow. I have vacationed in the Smokies in Tennessee and North Carolina and found it sublime. I have been to many of the places that were hardest hit, so it is particularly alive to me what jas been lost. I also know how important it will be for many years to provide economic support so communities can do all the long, hard work and get back on their feet. I will be planning a vacation to the region for next year - and will look for a working vacation, like Habitat for Humanity. I hope that idea will be promoted soon for folks like me to begin planning. For now, Operation Air Drop seems to be targeting the most isolated people in the greatest need. Bravo!
Even when the water recedes, they will remain in danger a while. They need to be sticking with bottled water or risk cholera outbreaks, which in the past, increased the death toll more than the floods themselves. Aside from the human death toll, the losses incurred by family farms (horses, livestock, poultry, crops, topsoil, tractors swept away in raging torrents) is going to be an issue for a long while. Expect a protracted recovery for all residents, including the indigenous wildlife.
Definitely joined the family! I love your pup!!!😘 I’m retired and disabled and if by watching your video helps someone I’m in! I feel so bad about the tragedy unfolding and wish I could do more. Sending hugs, love and prayers for everyone.
WOW -- I am looking at the water level on the edge -- I had been on a boat on Fontana during the weekend before the storm and the water lever was much lower. Incredible that such a huge lake was able to soak up that much water to spare the towns of Bryson City - Cherokee -- Dillsboro and Sylva from that crazy weekend of severe flooding.
Thanks for this, and helping us figure out how/where to donate. Clearly this is a lot of work and a lot of help in cash and kind is needed. This is a small world. We all need each other at different times, and this is one of those times.
Thank you for this video and donations! I am retired and just turned 65. They are deducting Medicare from what little I get. Applied for a help system it starts January. God bless these people in western NC. So devastating! 😢
Sweetie, I can maybe help? A recently retired RR worker. July 4th. I can offer you half my retirement. If I don't gift it, it goes back into the general fund. It doesn't affect me at all. Spouses get half of what their husbands make. It's weird? I've tried to offer this to many people that say they are broke, yet no one is willing. Here are the guidlines. Must be retirement age, and must be married a year. Look it up on the RRB, (railroad retirement board) I worked for UPRR for thirty years and paid into it like everyone else. If I don't use this option, the money goes back into the general fund. We don't get Social Security? The fund is an annuity. I retired July 4th. I just want to help someone out? I don't want a relationship. If you aren't intrested, any one else can contact me? Prenup. What is mine is mine, what is yours is yours. I am real? Free money and healthcare. I keep seeing all theese woman saying they are broke, yet offer help, and no one responds, or doesn't want to believe me? Whatever. It's yours for the taking. I'm 61. Good Luck, and God Bless. The only reason I replied to you, was my ex was named Dyana, after the actress Dyan Cannon? lol. I don't care if you want it or not. But I want to help someone?
It’s so heartwarming to see so many people with all their different skill sets & equipment rally together in spite of all the challenges & help those that need it. It’s super impressive. Cute dog btw 🩵
I know exactly how you feel.. as i was watching the video I could sense of abandon or being left alone since help was delayed, sadness, heavyness and not having will to keep up. That is how I felt on 25 october 2023 when Otis hurricane hit us in Acapulco. no celphone, no ligh, no water no nothing for 2 months we were back to middle ages and everything destroyed. Luckily the rest of the country sent a lot of help and they also organized the way to bring the help before the govermment. I cant believe the amount of destruction the flood left, so many people, houses, lifetime efforts.. So sad. I hope this bad days are left behind very soon and never happen again. Excuse my poor English
I’m sharing the video on all of my social media in hopes that everyone seeing it will watch the video and in turn help people who really need the help. Bless you for all y’all do.

i agree the military should be there. Our community experienced back to bck flooding two years in a row. When Fema and the Red Cross were long gone you know whos still here Samaritans Purse and other church groups.
such a big area though, hundreds of miles its fucked everywhere, even hour east of Chimney rock all out power stations destroyed. took 4 days for power and they were hit way more hard in the West
The military can do very little in a natural disaster. They can't repair power lines. They can't rebuild the roads. The can provide some equipment, but not that much. They can provide some heavy vehicles for logistics and transport but they don't have an endless supply of those. They don't have vast warehouses of MREs to feed hundreds of thousands of people. Fighters, aircraft carriers, and nuclear submarines aren't going to come to anyone's aid in the mountains. They have a lot of helicopters if they were all in one place, but they're deployed all over the world. It's amazing how people think the military is somehow the answer to all problems, from the border to natural disasters.

I know that supplies are coming from my community in Warrenton, VA. They've told me that they have to go over the TN line in order for the donations to be taken and not rejected? I pray that everyone gets what they need. I donated $ to help.
I am a native of Swain county, my husband was a Swain county commissioner for nearly six terms, he helped start Fontana Lake waste recovery. I worked on Fontana lake one summer, the flwr organization was responsible for getting toilets on each boathouse and for getting pumpout boats for each boat dock owner. We know first hand how much trash gathers up on the lake. My husband passed away in 2017. I am glad to see the clean ups still happens.
Amazing video S! Thank you and Brandon for all that you do to help with this devastating situation! We feel so bad for all of the people affected by this natural disaster! Sending you love from Ontario Canada T&C!
Thank you for sharing and little clips of your adorable nephew. Wow! You have over 300K views on this video. Will make lots to donate. Congratulations on that. As always I love watching your videos.
Sarah, great video ! Kudos to your efforts to share so much effective coverage of the devastation near your home. You are a great speaker for this type of communication. Great video, so good. I want to watch it again . Walmart has made 10 mil donation and Dolly P. 2 mil. Help is coming to rebuild. Good luck from central Florida.
I have watched all of the videos that I can about this hurricane because of the fact that my view does pay and that means a lot to so many of these people
What's sad to me is some will understand not going out and using up resources during a natural disaster but those same people don't get that about a pandemic. This was a very well done and thoughtful video. My thoughts are with ALL affected. ❤❤❤❤
💔 thank you for commenting and letting us know your situation. Are you able to send us an email? Would love to figure out how we can send some of the earnings from this video directly to you. floatingonfontana@gmail.com

Well said.
( at least for the few hours our drivers were there)
Our drivers asked ... we'd like at least one or 2 of our trucks to be unloaded more west. Tennessee is devastated in many areas as well.. they were told roads are impassable in most locations east of Asheville. They assured us the supplies are being sent to ALL areas in need ( including Tennessee)
We have 3 more trucks filled.
I'm sure the 4th one will be full later today so our drivers will be headed west again Sunday morning 😊 😁
Have a great weekend 💕

Take care!!

I’ve been thinking of you guys as I’ve been watching (from New York State) what’s been happening to the poor people of western N.C. and elsewhere. So thank you for taking the time amid all this to update your community. And for putting so much work into showing us life on the ground.
Bless you
🙏🙏🙏 for all those suffering from this storm….glad you all made it through safe!!!
We love you guys, and seeing what you're up to... While this was a hard video for you to make.... know that we appreciate the closer look....
US Cajun Navy seems to be doing a lot of good. They have an Amazon wish list. You can donate what you want and it will be shipped to a NC location. Also know the neighboring communities are doing amazing work collecting needed items and transporting to the areas that need them.

You guys are awesome, love the videos! Hope this one brings thousands of likes to help support WNC. ❤👊❤️
From Knoxville here. We were prepared for the dams to break and flood the Tn Valley. I love how she mentioned TN Valley Authority Saved the dams.
I had heard about that possibility but I didn’t think about the people who were doing their best to prevent it. I’m so glad they succeeded!
NC officials opened three dams and because they claimed they had too.this I feel is what really contributed to the damage.
We got lucky.

yall are great people. i love your positivity and community.
Thank you for giving us the information about "Operation Air Drop" and more! Your information is great. Thanks!
How huge? And what does it take to live in a houseboat there?
So glad to hear from you. Thoughts and prayers for all your neighbors
If I don't use this option, the
money goes back into the general fund. We don't get Social Security? The fund is an annuity. I retired July 4th. I just want to help someone out? I don't want a relationship.
If you aren't intrested, any one else can contact me? Prenup. What is mine is mine, what is yours is yours. I am real? Free money and healthcare. I keep seeing all theese woman
saying they are broke, yet offer help, and no one responds, or doesn't want to believe me?
Thank you for what you're doing. I'm so glad you're doing well 😊 donated and shared
✌️❤️🙏🇺🇸
So good to hear that you are ok . Hats off to TVA .
Didn't Acapulco just get hit by another hurricane recently?
@@colinl5951 Wrong party. Which one voted to close down the govt.?
Your English is fine. Thank you for your post.
I’m sharing the video on all of my social media in hopes that everyone seeing it will watch the video and in turn help people who really need the help. Bless you for all y’all do.
I shared a couple videos on my social media only to be told, " It is misinformation & fake news" 🤦🏼♀️
Sent my donation to Operation Airdrop! Thanks for sharing and hope it gets to the people that need it!

I live in Asheville. I'm glad to know Fontana is OK. I go there a lot. Please pray for us 🙏 donate to the church's there doing a lot. Biltmore Babtist is a great place. They are keeping me and the wife fed at the moment
God bless yall...
Thanks for sharing! ❤️ glad you’re ok, please be safe & let us know if you need anything else!
i agree the military should be there.
@@jimmybobsap8729upstate South Carolina is a mess still when shit should have started getting done as early as Friday afternoon and the weekend but we got days of lip service. I'm a big fan of college football but I gotta say I was pissed the Clemson game took place the resources were needed elsewhere and most of the fans couldn't watch it anyway. I'm trying to keep my mouth shut because I've been shamed for asking legitimate questions about logistics.. people who twist sayings like people are starving in Africa eat your food because you don't matter and your feelings are not valid.
@@colinl5951we have property damage in the tens of thousands and my father's 82 and he said let the tress sit there don't give the federal gov a chance to screw you over, take advantage or take any action on your property that's paid for. He's right they don't help and you can guarantee they will deem properties unsalvageable when they're not!
The Military are there (and FEMA was mobilised four days BEFORE the storm hit).
The sheer scale of the disaster swamps the resources.
Thank you for the update, for all your hard work in caring for the area, and the people.
Excellent video and succinct with information.
Thank you
Thanks will donate 🥰
Im not one to donate because i never trust it. But i just sent a donation from your link and I subscribed. Northern Nevada here. Wish i could do more. Our hearts and best wishes go out to you all.
It really helps when you have some sort of connection - like this channel. Such heartbreaking disaster on such a huge scale. I can't imagine the efforts it will take for a very long time to clean it all up.
So happy you were spared. The deviation is heart breaking 😭.
My Grandpa lives in Brison City. I called to check on him. They said they were unaffected thank God. Also, my Grandma lives in Franklin. Also, unaffected. I thank God, but my heart hurts so bad for those not as fortunate.
I'll also add, I live in South East GA. People without power for weeks. Mainly trees down on houses. Thankfully, no casualties.
I know that supplies are coming from my community in Warrenton, VA. They've told me that they have to go over the TN line in order for the donations to be taken and not rejected? I pray that everyone gets what they need. I donated $ to help.
So glad y'all are safe and ok! Continued prayers for y'all and all the people in need. Thanks for the info on air drop!!😊
Newport, Erwin, Elizabethan to name just a few Eastern TN towns that have been devastated. Glad you all fared well.
God’s speed to your wonderful efforts for your neighbors in need! God Bless you both. 😇🙏🏻❣️
Thank you T&C ❤️
It's hard not to cry when you see all of this crisis
Indeed 💔🥺
For you maybe
Thank you for sharing and little clips of your adorable nephew. Wow! You have over 300K views on this video. Will make lots to donate. Congratulations on that.
As always I love watching your videos.
❤️❤️ yes, so thankful to see the good traction that will create a lot of donations for those in need! Thank you so much 🙏
Sarah, great video !
I have watched all of the videos that I can about this hurricane because of the fact that my view does pay and that means a lot to so many of these people
My heart is breaking for all the people in your area.
@@colinl5951Never fails to start lies and such bs when disaster hits.
@@colinl5951 You've been reported for misleading info. What else are you trying for?
What's sad to me is some will understand not going out and using up resources during a natural disaster but those same people don't get that about a pandemic. This was a very well done and thoughtful video. My thoughts are with ALL affected. ❤❤❤❤
Not getting much info on the areas devastated by Helene on the news… more info on internet! 😊thank you for your reporting
Thank you for covering this & getting help where it’s needed. So happy you’re all safe.
Friends here from Morgan City Louisiana are heading y’all way with supplies
Didn't y'all just get hit by Francine? I'm in Slidell LA
