We love Provincetown. It has such a wonderful vibe where people can just be themselves. The restaurants, the shops, the bars, the entertainment, the art and music. My bride of 50 years and I will be there early in September. Thank you for sharing.

Memorial Day is pretty early to be on the Cape. What you saw is a very subdued P-Town. Come in the Summer and there will be a lot more people, but also a lot more to see and do as the pace and the fun pick up - plus it won't be so drab and gray. Except during Pride and Bear week, it's never so crowded as to be "over crowded" - just more people and an energetic vibe.

Ya it seems much more enjoyable that way, I agree. To just enjoy sights and weather with loved one. Not all hung over and sick from partying. Besides party and sex themed venues right now aren't a good idea. New deadlier, more communicable strain of Mpox on the rise globally.
