Thanks so much! Yes, it's coming along. Our progress has been a little bit slow with the holidays but we are trying to hit a stride again now that we are in the new year. Happy New Year!
Thanks! I really enjoy learning about construction and it has been a great experience. Obviously it can be challenging at times but overall it's totally worth it. We are hoping to use some of the rocks for landscaping so if you have any ideas, let us know!
I'm a new subscriber to your channel. I like your project and videos very much and I've learned a lot already. Thanks. By the way, if your rocks really are schist, they would be metamorphic rocks. If they are sedimentary rocks then they are likely shale, sandstone or limestone.
Gotcha! I'm going by what the sewage enforcement officer thought, he said schist but its probably my error calling them sedimentary. Their brown color and ease of fracture made me think that. Geology is obviously not my wheelhouse haha
Happy Birthday Alex!! You ask are moving right along on the house build

Doing all this before your 30s...impressive and smart. And Happy birthday Alex.
BTW: Those rocks you dug up will make nice landscaping elements.
