Hi all, this is no longer needed as the game now natively supports the G29 and a few other models.
Sorry to bother. Today, i played NFS heat with my G29, without configuring anything, the game just recognize the wheel. But suddenly, the game does not recognize the wheel anymore. Can you help me with this?
Doesn't seem to work with either the G25 or x360ce :/. Dunno what's going on, but I put the executable in there, setup the config same as you, made sure to add all those XInput DLLs, and it doesn't seem to be recognizing it when loading the game.
Looks like if you use the v4 beta of x360ce, it works that way. That's because it creates a virtual USB controller in Windows.
Does this game support a clutch?

At 32, I always wanted a steering wheel to play racing games ... when I bought heat nfs, I liked the game so much that I found the courage to buy the g29, expensive here in Brazil, and now I'm here, spending hours trying these settings...

This is why I won't buy the game. Simply put I was bored of The Crew and Horizon, I wanted a free roam driving game to chill with my driving wheel and I was thinking about this, then I found out about the stupid idea of the devs to not implement wheel support into a racing game.
Anyways thanks for the tutorial.
They have added support later, which is better than this method as you got force feedback. Yet only some limited amounts of wheels are supported.
@@MarkBrave992 yeah, when i first got the game i was able to sue the wheel and it showed up right in the settings, then it had an update along with the origin launcher and now i cant use my wheel and pedals at all

Hi i'm trying to buy a G29 steering wheel for this game. i'm kinda curious on what it feels(steering wheel) comparing a ds4 controller? is it worth buying for this kind of game?
Compared to a controller, it gives more realism, yet the game is not the best in class in terms of physics, but you can nicely cruise around with the wheel. you can race as well, but you'll have to get used to it and to reduce the rotation angle
sorry sir, may I ask. how do you put the control settings for throttle on accelerate paddle? is it you set it up in the software that you installed
How do you fix the problem where the game randomly starts turning you slightly toward the right even when the wheel is totally straight. Sometimes it starts out perfect, then after i turn, it feels like it resets the alignment and boom its constantly to the right a little.
Is there a way to fix/prevent that?

need for speed 2015 also has wheel support but the gas pedal is on the left side where the clutch pedal is
It's ridiculous that they did not release Heat with controller mappings like in NFS 2015
and it was a huge missed opportuinity that they did not make support for racing wheels/pedels...
I like Heat but not being able to freely map my controls for the controller is a huge annoyance as i cannot use the Manual gear shifting properly and am stuck with Automatic -.-

You can make it work, but will work only as a rally car ( with + and - , not with 1, 2, 3 etc). But having the paddleshift, it's more convenient also for menu browsing.

It might not be added at all. I think it's purely because of the genre "arcade" racing, it wouldn't give a proper experience with the wheel. Though, the devs can make it, no idea why not doing it :/

Hey, I have the Thrustmaster300 RS/GT, but I can't get it to work in NFS Heat, at all...
I can't use the pedals in any way, I can only accelerate/break with the buttons on the wheel. On top of that, the steering is almost non-existable...I have to turn the wheel about 180 degrees to make the slightest turn...

Hey, check wether you got the exe of NFS added, and if all the checkboxes for xinput are checked (mentioned in the video as well).

Doesnt work for me. The DPad is always pressing down but i dont press anything? :D Cant press on the gaspedal or move the wheel, there is nothing coming back from the game
Make sure to follow each step. It might feel weird, but it works.
Same for me, dpads not working right, no pedals, no steering, i followed every step...
MAKE SURE WHEN YOU PLUG IN YOUR WHEEL THAT YOU ONE.. HAVE IT SETUP BEFORE PLUGGING INTO COMPUTER.. DONT HAVE THE GAME RUNNING UNTIL U PLUG IT IN AND CALIBRATE IT . AND IF IT IS LIKE MY T150 U WANNA PLUG IT INTO POWER BEFORE U HOOK UP TO PC.. AND MAKE SURE LIKE THE T150 I HAVE TO BE ON PS3 FOR PC. OR ELSE ITS WONKY.. BUT THATS WHAT THE MANUEL SAYS AND IT WORKS.. ALSO IF U ARE USING THIS SOFTWARE. MAKE SURE YOU DO THE PASSTHROUGH . IF NOT U WILL HAVE A FUN TIME TRYING TO FIGURE IT OUT LOL . Does it support the shifter as well? Or is it just the wheel and pedals?
If you got a supported wheel, you can use the shifter as well, otherwise using this method you can only use the pedalshift.

I copied what you did but in game the controls were really weird. I use a Logitech G920. The accelerate was the menu button and the gear paddles were the wrong way round. I tried playing around with the settings switching the buttons around but it still didn’t work . Any help? Also A is B and B is A

Hey, there is no need of this software, now the game supports G29. You must delete the software files then launch the game

Actually no need to download the software it's bs bcs steering is trash, so what you actually have to do is just open Logitech program which gonna auto activate your wheel and game gonna see it and here you go ENJOY the game

Try plugging again the wheel. Once you get it with green it’ll work.

Haven't tried it, but there is an adapter that plugs between the wheel and the console. Try looking for that
