Man I barely ever comment on YT, but Theo and the gang, I have to thank you. You have made the darkness I'm going through bareable. Them dark arts been in my mind trying to convince me to go backwards but ain't no way im backsliding when I got your content and the gangs support. Keep up the good work. Im from a small town of 1100 people in Missouri. Its so relatable when i hear you talk about these rural areas
Best podcast ever I’ve been surviving off these old pods for the month and let me tell you it’s been helping me so much, giving me natural laughter, I haven’t laughed like this in a while man and I’m just happy these exist. Thanks VON !!! You the best bro
To be honest I like theos solo podcasts 1000% better because he speaks his true mind and is able to get a lot of stuff off his chest if he needs to, and hearing that makes me feel better when I feel down because he has a positive outlook on a lot of things
My sister and me work together a lot early in the morning and we always listen to the podcasts on our phone early in the morning. Every single time we have to watch the video when it’s uploaded cause we HAVE to see Theo and his facial expressions and reactions. Every time we listen we think about how funny he’s making it visually. Gang Gang bruh
Damn Theo! Your eyes straight pissin rain water makes mine do the same! Keep opening up man, this gang you’ve assembled of listeners only gets closer as you open that door up a bit wider. That’s that true hitter.
You'll never run out of ideas bro, too many people doing too much stupid shit. That's 1 stress you can take off the list. Keep talking about tour vulnerabilities here and there, brings a sense of relief to me and many others that other peeps are having worrisome thoughts. Today's story about how you feel in small towns was great!! I worry that myself and others are looking at this damn phone too much, instead of enjoying the loved ones around me. Keep up the good work man!!
This morning my dad had a doctors appointment and they found a 2 inch mass on one of his lungs. He's going to go through a lot of testing, but I already feel under the weight of the worst case scenarios. I hugged him for a long time and put on a good front for him but he is my rock in this world. I don't know what to do now. A lot of people rely on me daily so I have to be very strong, but for the past few hours my knees have been wobbling under all this. Sorry to vent here but @ 38:39 you got me deep. Thanks
@@lanieh6900 Oh gosh I wish I had good news to give you but things got infinitely worse. Dad really suffered through chemo and though doctors said he'd only survive 2 months maybe, he stuck around for 6. But they were horrid and painful for him. Too much suffering for any person to go through. When he passed it seemed like the entire world loved him and mourned for maybe 3 days but then it really seemed like the world forgot. Then the pandemic made the world seem much meaner and more isolated, no one has love for each other any more it seems. But I somehow still believe the future is immeasurably prosperous and good. I think people will turn things around and make a swift recovery from all this. Sorry for my wall of text. It means a lot to be reminded of memories of my dad, I had forgotten all about this post but now I will bookmark it to re-listen to 38:39 Thank you kind stranger

Bruh I am 100% pumped about Jordan Peterson!!! #1 hittah That SB caller nailed it on the head about what makes you so great. Never sell out and the fans will support you.
Hey Theo, I listen in and am starting to look out for your videos every time! I've been in the Marine Corps for over 10 years, going strong! Talking about the idea of borders... I try not to share my opinion too much. However, I understand your thoughts and its pretty basic. I LOVE THIS COUNTRY! I would gladly lay down my life for the better good of keeping our people safe. So coming from my perspective, if you are American, then you would likely think similarly... I am very aware of the importance of individual rights and what they represent, so my thoughts and opinions are my OWN only. I would never put them on another with the expectation that they think the same. I would never want to see HUMANs, regardless of where they are from and who they are, suffering and without opportunity. SO, protecting our borders is as important as providing people the opportunity to be able to come to America and become American legally and find the prosperity that our beloved country is known for. I appreciate your thoughts, and your comedy, Cheers!
Bishop Gunn I watched the documentary about you cats, can't wait till y'all start coming out to Denver or just the west in general so I can see a show. I've been trying to push the Telluride Blues and Brews Festival into inviting y'all out...couldn't be a better fit, imo
Theo is always forgetting his train of thought and makes me feel dumb because I can’t remember where he was going either lol - doesn’t hurt the podcast at all, doing a great job, Theo
TheGame I think it shows he's human. Even though he talks about the most random shit like a boss he loses train of thought like everyone else. Not too many podcasters show that on the air. Plus it's a win/when he gets that thought back. Onward..
Theo and Jordan are some of the best podcast guests around. With great vernacular and interesting perspectives. Jordan can definitely expound on the dark arts. Can't wait for Theo to pick that consciousness. Get in there!!!
I totally feel you on small town vibes. I love living in this tiny town of mine. It's quiet, I have my space, I actually know my neighbors... well shit, I know pretty much everybody in town. It's nice. I couldn't imagine living in a crowded place like L.A.
I swear, everytime I watch this podcast, I have so many coincidences where Theo mentions something so obscure that I was already thinking or daydreaming about moments before. It's that law of attraction dark arts, I reckon.
In this case, for whatever reason during the podcast I was thinking of a time I poured gasoline all over my aunt's backyard when I was about 5 and got in a lot of shit while the song "More Than Words" was playing. Something that just always stuck with me. Then all of a sudden he says he was with the band Extreme and starts singing the damn song.
Andrew Evans I'd prefer to believe that. It's so easy to be tricked. I still find these specific references to be shocking. It's like how everyone now is saying they discuss and don't Google things and they start seeing ads for them.
Kryptospotted the Google ads thing is less likely to be simple coincidence with as many always on microphones in smart devices as there are and companies predelictions for doing what they want until people find out :( Outside of that en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Availability_heuristic Does a really good job on it, the one you're talking about is closest to "judging frequncy and probability" near the bottom
I really want to believe that it's a cognitive bias, and that was my assumption when this started to happen. I actually ignored the first few examples of it, like the one I mentioned above, until it became too unbelievable for me. Some friends, one of whom I'd recently introduced to TPW, attributed it to the "law of attraction", which I've never been able to buy into. I'm pretty skeptical of all things not explainable by science/reason. The afternoon I left this original comment, I was looking through Theo's older videos on TH-cam, which I'd never done before. I watched the "I hate Dennys" bit from the "No Offense" special (early 2017) where he talks about wishing someone would shoot up a Denny's. I'd never heard of or seen the bit or special before. Not an hour later, I went on Twitter and saw a brand new tweet from Theo that said "Stay woke!" and linked to a news story about a man in Bakersfield involved in a standoff at a Denny's. I just can't fathom how I not only came across this tweet, but that it was posted the very hour that I'd watched the Denny's video for the very first time. In the week prior to that, I'd been on a road trip where a friend was playing music from her iPod, and the song "No Scrubs" came on, which is from, I don't know, 1998/1999. And the conversation turned to the lyrics and how dated they sound and how they would make people uncomfortable if the song were mainstream today, with all the advances in feminism and gender roles and all that. I got home later and watched a freshly-posted TPW with Duncan Trussell as the guest. He started singing "No Scrubs" and dissecting the lyrics from the viewpoint of today. So far, there've been studies disproving that our phones are listening to us. It hasn't been proven yet that I know of, and most cases can be attributed to something else (an algorithm matching up trends or someone's demographic with a product or event that their friends or friends of friends may have shown interest in, searches while intoxicated later forgotten, etc.). But I feel like this shared consciousness thing that many podcasters are tapping into could later turn out to be something real. Oh well. I'm not going to lash out and insist it's something spiritual or superstitious or whatever. That seems to be the reaction I get whenever I point out someone's mind playing tricks on them. Thanks for sharing your insight into these phenomena. We need more of that perspective. Perhaps this is a candidate for a hotline call.
