Hey folks! This is part 3 of our walk in Rosario Cavite. In part 1 and 2, you can see a lot of trash along the shore. This is the dumpsite where it comes from. Check out part 1 and 2 in the ff links. Part1: th-cam.com/video/LqAPbkbrWi4/w-d-xo.html Part 2: th-cam.com/video/JULztDzErnk/w-d-xo.html
These people need to take matters into their own hands and demand better accountability from their leaders. And can start by cleaning up their homes and picking up trash that's lying around everywhere you look. And stop having children that you can't afford or take care of.
This must be address to the Mayors office for action regarding cleanliness, grabe sobrang dami ng mga basura sa paligid dapat tulungan din ng taong bayan to promote cleanliness....puwede namang sunugin na nila mga karton at mga plastiks yong mga botelya nabebenta naman yan,,,so for short organic materials lamang ang basura including yong mga de lata o mga lata, ang samang tingnan pag ganyan, wala namang problema sa mga bahay bahay na barung-barong basta malinis at malinis pati ang kapaligiran....this need an action immediately baka pati mga bata magkakasakit niyan ...
Ill admit, I take things for granted here in the states...its amazing the resilience of people.. Hopefully my son doesnt fall in to the materialistic things because you watch these walks it puts things in to perspective. Edit, thanks for the no talking, and video, take care, not that I dont want to hear your voice its just nice to hear the sounds of the area.
At least they could clean up some garbage and sewage in self help. People have time there and it doesn't cost any money. Really concerned about kids walking in that shit and get hurt
True but where does it go? I get the sense there's no land fill, the ground itself is the garbage dump. There doesn't seem to be any significant infrastructure. The electric wiring looks like a disaster as well.
@@fnordly yes! I noticed that there were trash bags filled with trash, but just decaying on the beach! It's not that the people don't care, it's that they have no sanitation service to take/bury the trash after it's bagged.

I have been to your country and it has some beautiful places what i don't understand is why so much trash and gabage everywhere people shoud start taking pride of your country and clean up the place.
dont worry when the rains come most of that garbage goes into the ocean . we are punished and cannot have plastic straws and plastic shopping bags in new jersey . but these people can just throw it anywhere and dont care
Great video. I have been trying to cut down on single use plastic, but started to get a bit lazy. I have been motivated to try harder and to remain focus. An example is when buying a soft drink, instead of buying one that comes in a plastic bottle, getting a canned one or glass.
Gotta have resilience to live in a garbage heap...for sure! And that fish obviously is the dried salted version ending up on tables across the islands?? Most of the PI's has wind blown garbage strewn everywhere you look and its just as bad in the cities or populated areas like this one. They like living in squalor...dont kid yourself. Locals have a "dont care" attitude about dropping their trash where they walk or stand. And for the govt to not provide some kind of trash service or burn center. .pathetic.
It’s both Filipinos that live there and the government officials that they get to pick and choose what area they will clean up. It’s been a problem for decades and Philippines 🇵🇭 have not put Rosario, Cavite on there “Do List”…simple as that. Filipinos from Rosario, Cavite are resilients and they can overcome obstacles. So you foreigners and fellow Filipinos, do not hate. It’s not there solely fault of this. I’ve been there and seen it back in the days and folks from Rosario, Cavite are the best humble and hospitable people on earth.
🤔 How absolutely disgusting. This place is unfit to live in. There nothing here but mountains of trash, skinny underfed dogs and people who clearly don’t care what there place looks like. It# not difficult pile up the trash and carry it off or to pile it up and burn it. There’s no excuse for this amount of excessive laziness. Being poor has nothing to do with consciously choosing to live in trash. The government there should do something about this, force them to clean this place up.
I married a poor girl from Manila. She got $3000 year working 6 days week. She now doesn’t have to work, only look after our daughter and gets over $16000 to herself a year, sending around $3000 to her parents in Philippines a year. She had a $45k job before the baby and with that her family have a real house in Philippines now. But unfortunately, she expects me to do more around the house and care for our baby more and on top of that, we have zero sex life anymore. So, sometimes I think it better if you want help people overseas, don’t take them away. On top of that, I feel bad that she hasn’t seen her family over covid time. Plus they won’t get to see their grandchild until another year. If I knew a lot this before, I would not have married a girl from overseas.
Quit being a spoiled child In the comments. Lol 😂. You weren't supposed to marry her. You sound like you couldn't do well with women from your country of origin
You can be poor and still be clean. There is no excuse for letting trash just lay around. I guess this is normal behavior. These young women are willing to marry anyone to get away from all this filth.
Pois é o brasileiro está acostumado a reclamar de tudo enves de correr atrás por uma vida melhor imagine esse povo que a maior parte das vezes não tem perspectiva.
These poor people basically live on top of a dump the live eat breath sleep at the dump you can be guaranteed not one of there government officials would live like that yet they expect there people to live in those conditions when they wouldn’t even for a day.

You know what I really like about this town? Look at how relaxed people are. There doesn't seem to be much concern of thieves. Tiny little shops everywhere. Clean clothes. kids/Dogs/cats seem to be loved/calm. It seems like there's a bit of electricity, even a little Internet(Gangnam style dance). There seems to be an abundance of free time as well. I wouldn't emulate some things from the PH... but perhaps it would be nice to have a bit more free time and not worry about thieves and vandals as much. All in all, it looks like a great place to visit! I haven't enough need for learning a new language though. I doubt I'd have a good experience without the language.

Filipinos in Rosario, Cavite is used to be cleaner than this. Yes, there was trash here and there but not like this. The folks there have given up on cleaning the environment. I blame the government, starting with the provincial authorities not implementing the clean environment issue. It’s just hot out of hand. They're like that because they want to, if someone starts cleaning, everyone will do it too, but if they settle down, nobody moves to start.
this video brings so much memory, I grow up here
Great video, just people living their lives.
In garbage slums with sheet to eat and left overs hegehe

Pinoys are so lazy. They dont care.
This is the municipal dump area. So there is nowhere else to put the trash unless the local city enforces any real change
If each one of them picked up 10 pieces of plastic a day it would be a much more beautiful place

How can those people live in such squalor! No one cleans up garbage around their home. Only add to it.
Still need to clean up the mess around them and have more pride

Nung lumipat kami dito sa salinas nung 1972 ganito na talaga at malapit sa dagat ito dahil most of the land in rosario is owned by FilOil and PEZA.
