Curious about if you bought that 7.3 & if you did, like to hear from you, and in your search for one, do you have a leed in one similar..4th generation eastern North Carolina 👍🙋
Yeah you did! I just bought a 2001 F-250 with 238,000 miles on it for 21k, so you definitely scored!! What kind of tires you got? Big meaty ones or more street style?

You are correct!! It was a joint venture between Navistar (formerly International Harvester) and Ford, but the engine design was almost entirely by Navistar, based on their T444E engine.
Such an awesome looking truck, i'd have a problem affording the diesel fuel for it since i do so much driving and the winters up here are crazy cold it might be hard to start. But man I love those wheels and tires they're really sharp!
great video man. i have a 2001 ford excursion with 190,000. I think i fucked up. long story short rebuilding the whole engine with upgrade turbo and injectors. crazy.
I wouldn't be changing the atf so often, I live in commy Cali and the diesel is often times the same price or cheaper than 87 octane. Gas is normally 4.15-4.50 while diesel is 3.90-4.35.
Don’t get a 6.0….the 6.0 and the 6.4 is the worst engines that ford ever came out with…get the 6.7 from the years 2014 and up…the 2011-13s they have turbo issues..they tend to blow up
@@powerstrokecentral not much mainly cosmetic work cause it's all stock and I'm going to add a touch screen radio because the original one doesn't work but its a badass truck it's a 350 4x4
Favorite thing about the 7.3s is that they will run on almost anything, motor oil, ATF, gear oil, almost anything combustible.
$2 for diesel?!! I’m watching now where I live, diesel is $5 a gallon😂
Thx for the channel. Always an looking for new ideas re my 7.3 2000. Believe in "not to old to learn". Gonna keep her, so I'll be watchn.....
Thanks!
I found a 02 for $2500 with nothing wrong with it but an ugly ugly body. I think ima buy it.

welcome bro thanks for stopping by
Good overview of the 7.3. Glad I went with a 6.0.
LOL. We got ourselves a comedian. Next you'll tell me that the 6.4 is a solid engine.
What's best year 7.3 to buy an own thanks guys
1999-2002
What size tires & wheels ? Lift ?
You should get a 6 position chip
I’ve seen those before but not to sure on what it does.
It has a high ideal 25 50 75 100 140 horsepower settings and better gas mileage

PHP hydra is wayyyy better
$2.50 😂 currently paying $5-6 per gallon of diesel in CA
This was like a year ago
I got my 7.3L to go faster with a K&N air Intake Filter off Amazon. So worth it!!!
Better watch out many 7.3s only make it to 70k with k and n sucking in dust and washing out cylinders

Didn’t ford not make the 7.3 engine though? At least originally.

Yeah I agree, it has a purpose, same thing as the cummins 12 valve, they are gutless wonders and that's fine they do great that way

They sound cool tho and if you put a little money into them they will get the job done. Plus no smog is probably the most attractive part about them
