I think one of the reasons I enjoy, watching your video so much apart my love of music, nutritious meals and loving families….. is that you come across very humble, as if you were just trying things out for the first time. But you are so wise, intelligent and experienced in all that you do. You just seem non-pretentious like you’re always growing and learning.… and it makes it easy to watch someone like that.. reminds me of my own mom.. You guys also inspired me to start learning the violin! Ive played piano since I was five and when I was a teen I dreamed of going to Juilliard.. that never happened😂 but I was recently gifted my great grandmother’s violin. She played in the San Diego symphony and at Hotel Del.. and I am getting it fixed at the music shop. I hope to start learning soon and teach my son!

There’s a shopping center in Yonkers called Cross County that has Old Navy, Target, Macy’s, H&M and FREE PARKING. I think you could drive there in an hour or so. If you ever want a more suburban shopping experience There is also a mall in Nyack, across the river (last time I checked)
Naomi reminds me of myself. She loves to bake, grow food and is amazing at looking after her younger siblings. I got into cake decorating a number of years ago when I was more able and I never thought it was perfect. I focused more on using fondant making different cake toppings etc. Naomi the food that you are making looks amazing and as your family have said tastes amazing.

So cool! Yes Marc figured out the split peas in the instant pot trick for me and I’ve been using it ever since! I remember when I was a kid my mom made split pea soup and it was an all day thing so she only made it on Saturday. But the instant pot makes it so much quicker!
Have you thought about purchasing a bread maker? I used to have one when my kids were little. I’d prep it the night before and wake up to delicious bread.

Ya’ll ever do potato soup? I add broccoli to mine along with ham. Butter, half and half, cheese. Top with green onions and sour cream. So many variations you could do to adapt to your family’s taste. So filling and easy on the budget. Also can feed an army😊

Might even want to make broccoli cheese soup. Yeah I think the half n half I make a roux when o make mine and add milk to that. Then put broccoli in to cook I use stems n all chopped fine (I peel the stems) then I’ll use Emerson blender , bu I like it chunky, then add cheese. I don’t use the pre shredded though, I shred my own. I feel like the oil separates or somehow it’s gloopy (is that a word?) when I use preshredded. You’ll get it down, so many recipes out there! I think that is a good one for kids also. So glad it’s soup westher! I love them all! Minestrone with beans n kale or spinach n zucchini. I sometimes use a little browned ground beef or Italian sausage in it. Soup is one of those things you can vary the recipe and use what you have. Well, can you tell I’m happy to be making soup?!?! Lol

I am a vocalist and teach piano and love the drums but he had no rhythm and played the same thing over and over. And we lived in separate houses but just a driveway apart. He is now quite an accomplished chef and I understand owns a very large collection of snare drums! 😇
