- In the spring we planted for the first time ever West India Burr Gherkins. We were very excited that they were producing well early on, but we had no idea they would be this productive!
This is a definite must grow for 2021, but in the meantime we are truly enjoying them. Recipe video coming soon.
We will be ordering more from Baker Creek Heirloom seeds.

My kids liked the mini cucumbers.

What a nice harvest that does go on, and on, there in the patch. Huge Burr gherkin bumper crop! Can't wait to grow some burr gherkins and try your recipe. 🙏💕

I have never heard of either varieties. I would use the one you don't like for livestock food. TFS

I love your station and watch all the videos. Sometimes I only can listen though because I have a problem when I look at it when the video is jumpy. We need to get you the equipment others use to keep it steady. I think I have heard a gimbal, gimble? is what makes it steady. I still listen. Y'all remind me of home. I grew up in NC and worked a garden every year since I can remember with my Daddy and family till I moved away. I grow a few things in my front yard here in town in WA now. Thank you for sharing your life and garden with us.

I know in today's society it's great to see loving couples. But,, most won't believe this.. Their that way,, because they have learned. Their business isn't everyones else's business. I hope they will keep the channel on gardening and canning. Since they didn't start off as a relationship channel. I believe they should stay clear from becoming one. This is my opinion. But, I too adore their obvious love for each other.

I am so happy that I just receive the collection of seeds I purchased from you on yesterday, which included some West India Burr Gherkins! Looking forward to planting them this coming growing season. I am considering planting them in a container, but any recommendations in growing them in the Central Florida area would be greatly appreciated! Loving your channel, but you guys have been slacking lately on putting out new vids! LOL!!! But, I can understand, since you all have been doing your best to satisfy us seed purchasers. I never have to plant these again. I planted them on the property about 10 years ago. We get them growing every year now. I made a lot of pickles last year. They stay nice and crisp. I use the silicone oven mitts to knock off some of the burrs while washing them. Once a pickle, the burrs are not rough. Can't wait to see how she cooks them.

TY Mr. & Mrs. H! I'm glad to see this video! As happy as my garden makes me feel, I was a saddened about the small harvest this year! I had a major issue with squash vine bugs and the green bean seeds I planted turned into running vines without any flowering. They over took half of my garden. So I pulled them all up to start all over and to my surprise there are some of the largest cucumbers, tomatoes, and watermelons still growing underneath! I felt like a proud momma with a newborn baby!🥒🍅🍉 Sending continued blessing to you all!
