Not only was Pte Malone his guardian angel, but he was also saving the life of another soldier, ... his brother in arms let's say. Geez that song gets me everytime. Thanks for the reaction and your service.
I totally forgot about this song. I’ve heard a thousand times, but because the artist wasn’t mainstream, I totally forgot about it. Thanks for reacting to it so I could enjoy it again.
the guy playing pvt. Malone is one of the writers of the song. also while filming the video David Ball accidentally backed the car up into something cracking the back fender and had to pay for it.
Retired Coastie here! Yesterday, I discovered 2 UTube videos by David Ball that tell the songs story! No spoilers here! Sidenote; 7 years seaduty, well trained in ASW, Lol 😂! Salute 🫡 RDC, USCG, Retired!
Man, I’m tellin ya. You’re becoming my favorite reactor. Not many pauses, but when you do, you decipher well and spot on. Thanks for your service, btw. I love a good story telling song. If ya wanna try “Ole Red” by Blake Shelton sometime- give it a shot. Thanks bud! Keep it up!!
Thanks for airing this, thanks for your service. When I got out of the Marine Corps in 1972 there was SO many songs on the radio that always depicted the military in a bad light. To them we were just murders & baby killers! That’s why I liked it from the get go. Semper Fi
I love this song and I enjoyed your reaction to it. Before I go any further in my comments, I wanted to thank you for your service. I never served, myself, but my parents met while they were both serving in the navy, so I have great respect for those who have served. Your comment about the brotherhood between those who have served I think is particularly relevant to this song since the song opens up with the comment that he'd just gotten out of the service when he was scanning the classifieds. That gives the whole story the additional dimension of the purchaser of the car and Private Malone being fellow servicemen, having that bond of brotherhood in addition to their love for the corvette. I enjoyed this reaction and I am definitely going to check out more of your videos. Keep up the good work.
Was anyone else bothered about the spelling of a couple words in that video? One of them was the word riding, they kept saying ridding. The other word was supposed to say curve but they put curb.

From one vet to another thank you for your service. I love your reactions.
I also bought my Corvette for $1000. A week before going to QUI NHON, Vietnam. I was lucky I made it home.
You are one of the best reactors I have seen yet. I appreciate the reactions and the time in the service. Thank you for both.

It hit number 1 I believe
The main problem with this song is the invisible ninjas cutting onions whenever I listen to it.

What a great reaction. Billy Ray Cyrus's - Some Gave All and Alabama's - Angels Among Us are worth a considering for a video.
Can’t listen to this song without a huge lump in my throat.
Thank you for your service much respect

Thank you as well brother. ❤
Thom Shepherd, one of the writers of the song is Pvt. Malone in the original video...
You’re a submariner! Go navy. My oldest son served on the Louisiana and the Corpus Christi and one other. It’s escaping me now.
He also has a great song I've got a Thinking Problem.
Thank you for your service from an Army Vet!
My very brief time in the army is among the happiest of my life. Shout out to anyone who has been a Private

That was bothering me throughout the entire video. I'm quite anal about spelling and grammar.

There was also those spelled thoes and redtop spelled ragtop.
