Amen to the heels and strapless bras! I just discovered your channel and as a fellow early 30s sciencey person who loves handbags, I am thrilled to have found you! You mentioned in another video that you use Ikea shelves to store your handbags - I'd love to see a future vid on your setup
Thank you! Sorry for the late reply - going through a lot of transitions right now with work and home, but I really appreciate your comment! I'm hoping to film my new storage setup since we're nearly settled in after moving.
All 👏 of 👏 this 👏 No one told me how much my body would change (even not having had kids) but boy oh boy has it. I ditched heels years ago but also tight shoes went bye bye because of the pandemic. I also ditched underwire too. I no longer suffer for a look, I’m fully in my flattering high quality comfort era. I don’t care about bra straps showing though. *edit* sorry to interrupt your filming at the end 😂
My mum said the same thing about bra straps, I ensured mine were on show CONSTANTLY! Fight the power! 😆 I struggle to find clothes that work on my 'new' menopausal body that I still find exciting. You look amazing, so if you're already adjusting your style, you're doing it brilliantly 😙👌🏼
i love this. i'm going for a no buy for clothes and shoes for the entire yr! I'm with you on the heels. I'm 4ft 10in and I am no longer going to put myself thru pain to be 4in taller lol.
I did so badly at the no-buy challenge 🙈 but I'm working on it. Comfort and fun should be most important! I've finally accepted that I won't have a great time if my feet hurt or if my clothes are too tight 😅
I was wearing a top yesterday that required a strapless bra or a bandeau. It reminded me of a time I wore a strapless bra and during the event we were at I could feel it slowing creeping down my torso.😂😂😂 Now I laugh but at the time I was not amused.😖
They are the worst. I've been tempted recently by a few cute summer tops and dresses that would require a strapless bra, but doing this video made it easier to skip them 😅

Love this! It's so freeing to say I'm over it!!!
Absolutely! It's a relief to draw a hard line and not need to think about it anymore! 😊
Watching this whilst breaking in a pair of 6 inch platform heels 😂😂 great video, always intrigued on lessons learned !
You're braver than I am! I love 2-3 inches, but only for short periods 😂😘

😂😂 I wish I could fight it. Ben always reminds me it doesn't matter!

With you on the heels and strapless bras! Comfort is so much better 😊
Picking comfort every time 😊
Hahahaha "Hi, April!" 👋🏼

I hate that feeling 😅 Never again if I can help it!
Agreed on the strapless bra…they’re SO annoying and wildly expensive.

Wait until you’re 61.😖😂 I’m not necessarily bigger but nothing is as tight as they used to be.😂😂😂
😄 comfort is number one!
