Never said I was any good at it! I wasn't able to properly beat it until almost 10 years later. And thank you for arranging this in a "taking you're time" style of play. It's a song that is supposed to be the introduction/overture of a story being told, it is supposed to linger beautifully .
Lol fair. I first played FF8 at age 12 and was pitiful. It took me a while to realize the enemies were leveling up with me 💀 Thank you so much for saying that! I like to take time to let the notes resonate on the harp ❤️
This game has so much depth and nostalgia for me, and you NAILED it. Nicely done. I love the simplicity of this version. Just as I remember it from my childhood. And frankly, the original has those echoes. I like this better because it's more somber.

There are a few themes that I think you would absolutely kill such as Mitula's Theme, Elven village or even the regular piano theme that you hear in Yeel near end game. Tactics is my FAVORITE game in the franchise only 1 comes closer being X. I absolutely love this soundtrack and how the music makrs me feel while playing. This brought me to tears and i thought about the different places we hear this track in game. How important the music is to these scenes. Captured my childhood perfectly thank you.
This track is supreme, very very well done and true to the "melancholic dark fantasy" vibe the entire game gives off. Especially pronounced here with the deliberate patience you show. Fantastic work. Would you consider covering Ovelia's Theme or Ovelia's Worries in the future (they use the greater leitmotif and are very similar to this track)
