If you gather a bunch of dirty water you can get mutations that way. Its random but it works. Drink it till you die and get a mutation, respawn, then log out and back in. Keep doing that.
Better yet, just grab Toxic Goo from West Tek. It's easier to get and unlimited. Plus it gives you a lot of rads.
You can only get one mutation per server, so you can jump to another and farm mutations

I was given basically all the serums by other players so I got em all

SO many beginner guides for someone that has 30+ hours into the game? Lol im just overwhelmed trying to learn everything. Played 10 hours straight today, only level 12 but loving it all. Looking forward to getting to the point I can make use of some of these build guides!
There is definitely a lot of information to learn in this game and it can be a little overwhelming, but don’t worry take it at your own pace. Enjoy the game that’s all that matters!

@@blakeangell385 hit lvl 70 and did my first scorched earth event with some power armor. I can see why you say this, you don’t have 2 legendary perks unlocked and you just don’t have enough of the right perk card combos until this point to start working towards a build.

very good video, ive recently started to use the railway rifle, and its honestly one of my favorite guns. im low 90s in level and only have roughly 80 hrs in the game, im doing decent dmg with the special cards with the special cards ive thrown together but one my my issues is that i never really had a build in mind when i first started playing,i was doing commando at the start then shotguns, the PA+heavy guns for the most part so ive dumped so many levels into strength cards as well as other attributes that i dont even need now that i want to do railway rifle crit build. I find it hard to level and get the cards i need for the build, i have quite a bit of points into intellect for xp so i can level and get the cards i need but its making the dmg output suffer from it so im kinda lost on what to do.
Thank you! A bloodied build is great for leveling up! Once you get unyielding armor you can get your intelligence to 30+ easy and it’s all up from there! Also make sure you’re always taking little naps at your camp to get the 5 percent bonus xp and eat canned meat stew whenever possible.
Do you know anyone who I can get some unyielding armour off of? I’m level 25-29 somewhere around there. I’m having the hardest time finding and being able to craft armour. Willing to trade some rare and hard to get apparel or plans
@@BoMedPatient I’m on Xbox and have some in my vendor but it’s level 50. Most people selling it have level 50 pcs. I would get to level 50 first. Also if your are on Xbox you can use the looking for group feature and just say looking to buy unyielding set cheap

idk about the advice of maxing out the luck card asap. i think it’s a way better use of perk points at low levels to max out s.e.a.l. legendaries evenly one star at a time, as that will give you more overall perks which translates directly to more damage, survivability, and playability. otherwise, great video
That is a good point, I just wanted to stress if you want to to max damage as a cat crit build you want over 33 luck l. Certainly other ways to do that other than the legendary perk card. Also not everyone wants to do all of the damage which is totally fine! I actually talk about balancing damage output, utility, survivabillity and coop in my “Fallout 76 Builds Explained” video
@@sunkestxI’ll be honest I went with ammunition factory because at a lower level with unoptimized damage, you FLY through ammo. I’ll get luck maxed out next but having that extra free ammo is just too valuable at early levels!

I would recommend leveling them to 2 if you're new. You'll get 50 more perk points in the 25 levels required to get another perk slot. I did get 50 extra perk points from the season, so maybe this info is a bit off.

thank you for the video, i have a quick question if i wanted to make a starter build with PA i have a set of t-51b unyielding would i just swap the commando perks into heavy perks then take stabilized? Currently I'm level 80 and i have been running around with a .50cal and the Gatling gun but ive seen some build for pa and they all only show max legendary perk cards. or should i just stay away from that tell I'm high enough level
How did you get t51b unyielding? Power armors shouldn’t have that legendary effect haha. But if you plan on using heavy weapons then yes definitely use heavy gunner and stabilized

Me and my friend started this game last week and we have been playing it pretty regularly and doing a load of public events we finished an event and there was someone who was extremely high level just dropped it for us. Do power armors not get that specific mod? I have other power armors that have different mods
But thank you sorry the perk cards are still confusing for new players tbh I have just been running around in my excavator set with my 50 cal just having a blast haha just gotta figure out what to work towards cause I use a ton of ammo on things it seems like people can kill much quicker then me
@@1mdawn to my knowledge, I think only unyielding is the only first star that can’t spawn on power armor

In ur showcase, what food buffs were u using? If any
No food damage buffs for in the show case but I was using smoked mirelurk for carry weight and company tea for AP regen if I remember correctly
Would unyeileding armour be necessary like for say I wanted more space to hold items could I run a pockedted armor set or is unyeliding necessary?
Pocketed is an armor mod and unyielding is a legendary effect. You can have both at the same time. Unyielding will buff your carry weight as well since it buffs strength.
I've been running a bloodied build since the break it early test for 76. Just can't get away from it.

The best railway I've rolled is bloodied explosive. Is that decent compared to quad?
That’s definitely a great roll! I think quad is the best since you don’t have to reload as often. Bloodied explosive will have more damage per shot but the effective damage per second will be higher on the quad because of the reload time savings
Would scaly skin be a good serum for damage resistants?

I'm a solo player by choice. Not many friends (that play) and don't like relying on others. Tried groups before, and it never lasted long enough. I keep getting groups that disperse in less than an hour. And, TBH, I enjoy playing solo very much. Is there a bloodied build you can recommend for a solo player?
You could use lone wonderer in the charisma tree and definitely don’t use the herd mentality serum. Also since that would make using unyielding armor a little less effective you could do a bloodied heavy build and use heavy weapons and powers Armor instead. Just put points into strength to use heavy gunner perks and less points in perception.

Casual groups you can play like your solo. No one expects you to participate in anything. Literally zero pressure. Also even if you are by yourself in the casual group herd mentality still works. Just an FYI if you were not aware.
Bruh just join a public casual team nobody expects you to actually play as a team
Just curious as to why everyone uses that quad barrel on the Cremator when its significantly worse than the heavy barrel. I found nobody used the heavy barrel and then the "nerfed" it but its still well over 2k as mine stands at 2432 over 12 seconds with 429 impact damage.
i think there was a glitch going on causing the quad barrel to do more damage then it stated in the pipboy/bench menu. Something to do with each shot having its own individual burn damage. Just a theory though. But after the patch the heavy barrel for sure on top.
The quad barrel is listing the damage per shot. But it does 4 shots
i like seeing the bloodied builds (and playing them) but really they need to nerf bloodied, at least by half or heavily buff everything else that works in a similar way. the lowlife bloodied builds are the strongest you can make any weapon in the game and the difference between the damage a bloodied build can do vs a not using bloodied is huge. after a few hundred hours in the game it sucks to realise just how ahead in damage it is.
That is true it’s definitely been on top for a while, a meta shift could be refreshing.
@@sunkestx not even a shift, just bring it more inline with the other mods that work in a similar way. or make changes so it cant be one of the best tank builds ontop of the damage lol
its like, even playing a PA heavy gun build, bloodied, with nerd rage with radicool and the PA mod that give you 50 DR for being low hp, you literally have 15% hp, the most damage you can get and you are basically unkillable lol

You’re welcome! And I’m not sure how to fix that sorry, best option would be to google the name of the quest and add bugged to the end of it. Might be able to find a reddit thread about a work around. Or watch a walk through on TH-cam, maybe you’re missing something.

Not necessarily a bad thing, just keep leveling up and you’ll get there eventually! Don’t need to worry about things being perfect if the build feels fun keep going with it!

How do you get so many caps? I’m level 71 and still struggling to get enough caps to buy anything
You get 1400 per day from train station vendors.
If you're picking up everything that you can while you're doing events you can 'cap out' easily.
Do that for 7 days then there's 10k.
Do it for a month and there's 40k.
Also selling certain items that others are interested in in your player vendors can get you maxed rapidly.
For example I bought a fixer with God rolls for 38k out of a vendor this morning.
Put a very rare plan in and sold it within an hr and I'm halfway back to max again 👍
How do you get the company tea machine?
It was a previous scoreboard/season pass item. Maybe come back in the shop or as a gold bullion item. But a lot of players have it free at their camp for every so just look around some camps!

You can certainly do it because of the other perks and mutations I mentioned, but I would work on finding some from player vendors and then you can build up your pieces over time

@@lew_7 yes civil EA is definitely worth it! Fun fact it is the best tradable non-power armor in the game

How do you have such high special stats?? Like how do you level them up past level 50?
Using legendary perk cards, you scrap normal perk cards you aren’t using to get perk coins, perk coins can be used to unlock and upgrade legendary perk cards. You get up to 6 legendary perk card slots, last one unlocked at rank 300

Interesting we want quad over blodied on a blodied build...
That’s my preference. Bloodied first star is a great option too. Effective dps is higher with quad since you don’t have to reload nearly as much And damage is being buffed by adrenal reaction. Bloodied 1st star is better for low level mobs but quad takes down tanky enemys / bosses faster

What's the min level i should attenpt this build? Currently 55
level 50 would be a good point since armor level maxes out at level 50. Having a full set of Unyeildng armor would be the main pillar of the build and you can slowy build from there. Does't have to be perfect right away!
my problem is I've played for years. took a break for about a year. came back to my bloodied build and now I keep dying constantly. any tips?
Make sure you are running serendipity and evasive. Also if you can get a vampires weapon and run ricochet. Every time ricochet triggers it will heal you if you’re holding the vampires weapon!

It’s insane how much you have to level up to fully max your legendary cards . I’m lv 400+ and I still haven’t maxed a full set … lol

This is not a good build for a beginner. So many FO76 TH-camrs keen to share “knowledge” and their builds are 6/10 tops. Don’t need Serendipity, instead take bloody mess. Don’t need lifegiver or fireproof instead take another master commando and 3 ranks of covert operative and 3 ranks of adrenaline. Get rid of action boy and max out adrenaline. Get rid of arms keeper and max out travelling pharmacy. Use the remaining ranks on whatever you like, I’d recommend upgrading thruhiker or taking mr sandman if it’s night.
Builds are definitely subjective but I think that suggestion would lack survivability and gain damage output. So it depends if you wanna do more damage but die more often
@@sunkestx don’t need survivability if the threat is already dead before it sees you
Bloody Mess is statistically insignificant on a Bloodied Build especially if you’re running Adrenaline. Survivability is not trivial especially as of recent balance changes so serendipity is fine. As a NEW PLAYER GUIDE especially it’s safe to assume youre not leaning 5/5 Powered Bolstering/overeater. But I agree you don’t need Lifegiver at all, or Fireproof with the right armor! Replace with Chem Fiend and pump Psychobuff for a much better HP boost. Traveling Pharm and Batteries are the only mandatory weight perks. And Adrenaline is worth having at 5-6, but Action Person and Dodgy (which synergize) are to me nonnegotiable for consistent %damage reduction which always outperforms DR
