Came into this with a prejudgement, and boy, was I wrong. What an amazing woman. Takes a strong person to put yourself out there, swallow your pride, all to help others. And on top of that, she articulated her story excellently. Must be difficult for her kids to understand it all, but they are lucky to have such an inspirational Mum.

That his parents enabled and were accessories to his atrocities, explains his level of commitment to his games, his lack of remorse/conscience and his extreme confidence in his ability to deceive and juggle people.

TG this was a brilliant interview. Unfortunately I was in a relationship for 3 years with a man who destroyed my life. He too had a criminal record including sexual assault. I didn't have any assets but was left 15 grand in debt and so mentally scarred I lost my job due to mental illness then developed fibromyalgia brought on by stress and trauma. Im a bit better mentally now 10 years on but im not the person I was and live with chronic pain. I look back at the strong independent woman I was before I met him and it feels like I'm looking back at a stranger. I still feel guilty about allowing myself to be taken in by that bastard. He changed the course of my life and im still paying the price to this day.

Good interview. I have sympathy for this lady, but really, there were so many red flags she ignored. I would have ditched him after being stood up so many times in the first 2 weeks. In these situations, trust your intuition and set boundaries then stick to them. If someone tells you that their job is their priority over you, that is a major red flag.
This one was a fucking belter. What a brave and resilient woman/mother. We can all sit ere and say "how didn't she know" but the hardest thing is to admit to yourself is you're being tricked.
