Timely that this came out when I am about to refinish up on Samurai Jack Season 4, with a deliberate binge hiatus of Season 5 until November. Gods, I miss the Jedi-loyal Barriss. Imagine if the terror spider droids from the force unleashed II had these cloaking abilities like the terror troopers they would be so powerful when deployed how they where in the force unleashed II
I wish the chameleon (spalanka), crab, the tactical droid that beat Anakin's ass to the ground and spider droids were in jedi survivor. At least we got Droidekas, super battle droids and of course magna guards.
Hi Geetsly's, would you like to make a video discussing the philosophy of Vergere, particularly as she is portrayed in the New Jedi Order novel series ("Traitor")? I feel like this might be a very interesting topic, particularly in the context of Legends prequel era Jedi, where their philosophies clash and whether following Vergere should have caused Jacen Solo to ultimately fall to the Dark Side (forgetting for a moment the later retcon that retroactively made her a darksider).
I still think the post-NJO Denning-verse is set in an Infinities/Elseworlds take of Legends, especially if it's one deliberately created by some unknown cosmic entities just because and as a set up to experimenting on the Disney Alt-universe spawned by Splendid Ap.

I specifically recommend it as a topic cos unlike many NJO fans, I myself am not convinced about her teachings and especially that Geetsly's usually agree with the old Jedi code, their take wpuld be interesting. At the end of the day, she was later established as a Sith follower, but I'm sure it's better to ignore it when it comes to discussing the philosophies brought up in Traitor. Cos tye character is less important in this case, it's what she believes or pretends to believe, that matters.
After seeing this, why the Separatists did not deploy them more? They will be very good for using in ambushes and tactics such as feigned retreat. Having the main droids' army retreated, luring the clones into the killing zone and the Chameleon Droids sprung the trap by blocking them from behind while the Battle Droids turned around, trapping the clones.
I can assume that these droids were expensive to build and field. The holographic projectors alone sound like they were complicated to manufacture, so the Commerce Guild couldn’t really afford to deploy them in traditional military tactics.
I wouldn't say these Droids are obscure per say, given there appearance in the 2003 Clone Wars micro-series and the popularity of that show. Now the Scorpeniok Droids they are obsucre, I had never even seen them until the Boo of Boba Fett and I had no idea they were old Separatist Droids, until the video you did on them.
Eh, the Scorponoks now feel tainted with that... battle at Mos Eisley. The anti-Jedi murder droids on Jabiim are an interesting bunch, in the meantime. Would have fit right in on CW 2003, let alone Samurai Jack.
@@michaelandreipalon359 Well, it's only the TV appearance they have so we have to take what we can get, but maybe will see them again in a future series, maybe a Separatist hold out in the next season of Bad Batch will have one, or maybe the Imperial remnants will use one to help even the playing field when Thrawn gets back because the Imperials will be up against a bunch of badass Mandalorians and two, possible four depending on if Luke gets involved and how things go with Sabine, Jedi, so they'll need something to even the odds.
The title makes it kinda sound like --- Oh yeah I knew this would be the microseries (literally typing this as the video was uploaded.) The title makes it sound like Yoda just blew up a Jedi Temple just by being scared; as if he's gotta be in control at all times because of how powerful he is
I just watched your videos on the regional backgrounds of Kashyyyk and Hapes. Would you please consider doing a future video on what conditions make a planet wealthy and influential. It seems that location within main hyper jumps play a very big role in making a planet wealthy but Tatooine is located in a main hyperspace junction point but is not rich or developed at all. I know Tatooine lacked the natural resources but planet wide cities like Taris and Coruscant depleted most of their natural resources but were still wealthy.
What can they say, Multiverse Theory is a b***h? Also, the attack on Ilum so far doesn't appear to contradict Disney Alt-universe lore for the time being, alongside the Republic Commando video game.

We had the Commando Droids, too. But yeah, those would've provided a bigger challenge. The B3's would've been amazing, too.
I want the Grapple Droids to make a return.
