The Seaborn have recently been revealed to be the equivalent of a mass biological artificial intelligence, created to store and recreate genetic information inside a variety of living servitors capsble of adapting to any environment. In effect, each one of them was a sort of " ark". This is why they wish to " consume" all things; they are still focused on the eventuality of a total extinction event, which was the reason for their creation. They wish to " preserve" life until this now hypothetical event comes and passes. This is not to say Ishar-mla cannot be classified as a god. As I said, the Seaborn are based entirely on processing information from beings they " consume". Alive Until Sunset have a very bad relationship with Seaborn. It could be assumed that Ishar-mla specifically is what occurs when a Seaborn manages to consume a god( or a piece of one) and adapt it within their physiology.
