Chances are that if you have been browsing TH-cam for any notable amount of time, you have seen at least one of Omar Von Muller's amazingly talented canine companions. Omar has been an animal trainer in Hollywood for many years and his amazing team of dogs have been featured in all sorts of films, commercials, and various hit viral videos. So when I had the opportunity to get out filming with Omar's stunningly skilled pooch Jumpy, I was beyond stoked.
I hit up my good friend Alex Duong, a professional parkour athlete whom I met through a collaboration the Substance Over Hype collective, to film for a couple days with Jumpy. This video is the sum of what we filmed! I hope you all enjoy!

The fact is: Any dog is capable of doing all those things.
Jumpy is a dog that would SUCK in protection, bitework, Mondjo Ring Sport, IPO/Schugzhund, Police K9, Sentry, Attack work. Jumpy would be excellent in Agility.
Alex is more impressive than Jumpy with his athleticism. I can tell he's probably been doing Parkour for many years. It makes sense. Nice. Cool.

In an alternate dog universe this exact same video is on youtube titled "best human ever" and all the dogs there are jealous of how great Jumpy's human is.
Except dogs aren't capable of high level thinking and due to a lack of opposable thumbs wouldn't be able to make technology as complex as computers.

In that universe dogs, due to accelerated evolution in selective breeding by humans, could've one day evolved true telepathy dout of the imperative to detect intruders, track prey on a hunt, or just know what thier master wanted of them. This evolutionary keystone turning point would've made them the apex predator on the planet, but it turns out that dogs, not being capable of higher level critical thinking just want to please their masters and be good boys so unexpectedly this power makes them very trainable and obedient. Then the dogs evolved the ability to utilize the brain power of other animals for certain tasks such as higher level thinking and it turns out to everyone surprise that whales are actually ten times smarter than humans and so the dogs utilize the brainpower of the whales and dexterity of humans to bring about the industrial revolution and the digital age all for the sole purpose of being a good boy. Whilst it’s true that dogs don’t have the number of nuerons that humans have nor similar mass of cerebral cortex relative to size, there’s no conclusive proof as to any distinctive limit of canine thinking ability, whenever you hear they’re unable of higher level thinking that’s only going off the null hypothesis and whilst that’s a great position to start with it’s by no means conclusive.

What I actually like about this video more than all the other dog parkour videos is that they are doing it together, the owner is not training the dog to do anything that he would not do himself. Very cool.

You really deserve some kind of award for this video. Rarely do I ever watch a video twice. Have watched this about 50 times already. It actually has some type of anti depressant/SSRI qualities in it. Freaking BRAVO!!!
This whole video was awesome but the backflip at 2:28 stood out. How the hell do you teach a dog to do that, never seen that before.
And hats off to Omar who taught this superdog all he knows. How you ever found a dog that is so smart, so willing and so fearless, all in one, is unbelievable. It's like hitting the lottery. JUMPY will forever be marked in history.

you bumped your head, Jumpy isnt nothing special? Oh my God, there is NO DOG that has ever compared to Jumpy. He paints his own name and other words. He rides a scooter down a windy mountain pass for a quarter mile. He can turn on a skateboard, He rides on a board being pulled by a boat fast. He holds the record for the fastest speed on a skateboard, even beat a professional. There is nothing Jumpy cant do. So you need to watch more of his videos before you make a lame comment like that. +TOTEMAS I will try my best, but am not sure would be successful. So first of all, a big majority of haters don't have anything against the content itself. The owner of this channel must have earned some hate because of some of his views on some controversial issue, and people thinking they know everything better than others, just come to the channel to hate on the video. Then, the second point is the use of an Asian person in the video. Now there are people who can only blame others for their failures in life, and some of them must believe that Asians took away all their jobs, so most probably a majority of those dislikes are from depressed unemployed guys, trying to say when there are so many white parkourists, why use an Asian guy. This with some more variables taken into account explains all the haters.
