The way the targets are scored are very subjective to interpretation by the instructor! And very likely to cost many their certification! I just did a video on scoring these in 2 different ways.
Does this apply to the LEOSA Qualification as well? Also, under AZ LEOSA Qual (retired Fed LEO) do I have to qual with every handgun I carry or just one? Some states have diff rules?
Sounds simple enough. Will require some practice, especially drawing from the holster with an empty pistol and tactical reload with an empty magazine. Repetitive practice for muscle memory.
This course sucks and when we brought our concerns to azpost we got nothing but crickets. Shame on azpost for letting Phx PD dictate the new qual for all AZ departments
So the whole line will be walking while shooting.....three times.....what could go wrong....and no 25 yard-well, not like cops ever have to shoot a handgun at distance, these days, when everybody and their brother has a rifle. Sorry, but there's some really stupid stuff in this drill. Not to mention dangerous stuff. Half our cops only shoot once a year as it is & now they will be less accurate.

The way these qualifications are being scored (counting bullet holes) is definitely subjective. I like the new qual, it isn't bad at all.
It all depends on the instructor. It can be a lot of fun or horrible

At 5 yards I should be moving for cover or at least moving laterally not advancing…
