An amazing operation! Ryan knows his "business".....from start to finish! Makes one feel good to know that there is a recycling business taking things to the MAX!!!!!!! Thanks, Chris, for the info video! 👍👏😍
☘️🇮🇪🇺🇸 very kewl armchair warriors always know best Chris … been several minutes since I was privileged to walk through a beautiful place like that . A perfect symphony of machine-man- material in perfect cycle. A world so very few know. Its sights, sounds, smells- the vibrations of the big machines you can feel in your chest … blessings 🌹🙏🏼
Ryan, Chris, and Charlie from “Copperheadmarine channel” all came out of the same mold. These hard working smart guys are what builds this country. Very impressive!
We have a yard for wood waste around here but its nowhere near as nice as that, the same comment Chris made about the crappy blocks that are sold… same applies to the folks that sell mulch out of the yard here, doesnt even begin to compare to Ryans
Hey Chris !!! Thank you for videoing this action at Ryan's !!! Saw Mike in there ,but NO Comment from him as saw his video too !! Onto Atlanta & the Hyundai Play yard with the big toys !!HAHA 👍👍👍👍👍
Chris, I live near a mulch facility but have never discovered how the process worked until now, thanks so much for showing this! The concrete process was also very interesting!
This was interesting. Mike was very eloquent in his video regarding the blocks, about how much he preferred Ryan's product. After watching you use crushed concrete on roads & driveways, it was neat seeing the full circle. Mr. Digg, you do good work, sir. Thanks for sharing this, Chris.
These last couple of videos on recycling what would just be waste material shows how to really put it to good use. I have really enjoyed watching this mammoth operation.
Very cool operation. I've bought hundreds of bags of mulch over the last 40 years with no idea how it's prepared and sold. Tell Ryan, thanks for providing us something that brings us much happiness as we love our gardens and lawns and other landscaping during the summer.
@13:35- now THATS a loader!!we have a company in East TN called Blalock, and they are famous for their blocks. Most highway abutments and sheer walls beside thehighways here are done like the stone version of Blalock blocks. Thanks for the tour!
That's why I like your videos. You cover a lot of things and you run your video. It's you. You have a guest there. You're talking to him your interviewing them. You're controlling at all. You have some other people there but they're not getting into it. It's your video and that's the way it should be. I really enjoy it. That's definitely something different. I never knew how they made those big blocks. Nice 👍👍🙂🇨🇦
That you Mr Ryan for have us..awesome opportunity for us to come see your opperation...Mulch Mulch and big toys to run around on...verry cool...thanks. 💥⭐👍GoTeamLetsDig18 👍⭐💥
Man, what a difference between what environmental warriors think can or should happen and the reality if what it takes to produce something as seemingly simple as clean mulch. What an operation Ryan has there. Kudos to him and those like him.
@TheRealMrDigg I really appreciate what you do. That is one awesome place you have there. And you do an awesome job running and working hard every day it amazing. Thank you, Ryan
I have really enjoyed this tour of the recycling yard. It's great to see something like this and informative. Don't get me wrong, I love the diggers, but this was really interesting. Thank you
He has one of the best operations ive seen in a long time. Thank you for sharing that with us. I started watching his channel after you and dirt perfect showed these videos and its so awesome.
I always figured that unused concrete just went straight back into the mixing plant. I had no idea they made blocks out of the spare stuff! Economies of scale in action, right there.
With him making the design on the block that was smart on his business & well worth the extra money & the inner-locking system it's much better then just the V groove !
I love this video, just listen to Chris, he obviously knows his stuff. That is one major reason to watch him. He informs and entertains all at once. Damn clever guy!!!
We kinda forgot to go over there…..whoops! But, they follow pretty much the same procedure. We mainly use pallets to produce the red mulch because it gives a more vibrant final product. Thanks for watching!
Ya'll were showing the blocks - we call them waste blocks, make them from leftover concrete from the day's casting (I work in precast) and they all have the faux stone face to them. Big hit for some contractors that want something a bit nicer for retaining walls especially, primarily for commercial jobs.
wonderful video Chris.. the drone shows how big this operation is, fantastic to see what happens to all the tree debris that gets dropped here.. one of my favourites!
This is awesome, Chris. I would have never known these things if it wasn't for you. Thank you, I enjoyed this very much and learned a lot, too. Your friend has a great operation going there.
Wow !! He has one Hell of an operation going on there !! A Giant Business !! lololol... Well, that was a pretty awesome tour there Chris, thanks for taking your time and sharing that Man !! Great as always Have a Great Evening, And, On too the next !!
Chris, I have to say that guy has got a hell of a operation. He don’t waste nothing which I have a grandson that works in a landfill in North Augusta South Carolina and he runs the grinder which was the first one that y’all looked at he’s in control of separating everything and running it through the grinder, but anyway man appreciate you putting that video out. I really enjoyed it.
You could make these videos available to high schools - it's fascinating to watch a real recycling operation that is so integrated and shows every stage of the processing of the material. You never know, you might inspire future machine operators and environmental scientists to pursue such a worthwhile career. Outstanding stuff.
I agree with you. It is very interesting to watch, and it makes you think of ways you could help recycling. Showing at schools would be awesome for students to see how it will help in the future. It's a little too late for us, older folks, but showing the kids how to help save a lot of landfills and the planet. Thanks for sharing Ryan and Chris.
They should do more of this recycling everywhere. That man is using everything to it's potential. Crushed concrete is good adgrigate and road base as you know Chris. Hope you have been enjoying your time off work.
What a fantastic operation Mr Digg has - pretty cool all round. Quite obvious he has thought through the process of recycling whilst making a living for himself and creating employment for others. Learn so much from people such as he. As we say in Aus - no slouch there for sure.
There is a company where I live that makes mulch out of pallets . They grind them up and then magnets take any fasters out. It is them dyed in various colors . The towns pickup leaves and brush. They also pick up limbs . The brush and limbs are chipped for mulch and the leaves are piled for compost. Anyone can take what they want for free . People love the leaves to mix in their gardens and the chipped wood makes great mulch . The smaller municipalities have rubbish grass clipping pickup from spring to fall and it's taken to the county landfill and made into compost which is ready in the spring for anyone who wants it at no charge . On construction sites they have to recycle any concrete block scraps or old clean block that is not painted . It is hauled to a crushing plant that mixes it in with new block concrete mix. Old fiberglass ceiling tiles are also saved and and hauled to a plant where they are shredded and mixed into new fiberglass for ceiling tiles. 50% of waste in my county is recycled .
I was seriously impressed with this video for all reasons mentioned below. Ditto to them. Did I miss the acreage size of the operation? How many people are employed? Is maintenance performed on swing or graveyard shifts? How many mechanics are employed? How much fuel do they burn a year? Thanks for bringing this operation to us, Chris. You created a documentary. 👍👍👍
85 acres under this particular operation, 70 people all total, maintenance during regular hours, 3 mechanics, LOT of diesel ( im really not sure but its a lot). Thanks for watching!
On all this wood and trees, awesome operation and you can make money by the pound, for this for landscaping and so on. There is a place not too far form here, where I can get gardeing dirt and mulch that they will sell you by the yard. Also great that his cousin has a saw mill, to mill all the better logs, and can then sell them as well. Love the concete area as well, cause all of that can be used or resued in the construction trade, for driveways and such. Chris and Mike would know that well.. Now Andrew Camarata has a rock crusher at one of his properties that he blew up a part of his one mountain so he could crush the rock and build the LONG LONG driveway and road on... Also blew up another part of his mountain by his Castle property. Great videos! Like the blocks as well, Love the ones with the horses, but you have to have those certain people that like that.
Years ago Mead Paper in Chillicothe, Ohio dumped all the tree bark from their debarker into one big pile. Management discovered town's people helping themselves to this compose. They fenced off the pile and started bagging it for sale calling it Pay-grow.
Nice aerial view of the concrete crushers as there are two of them at a demolition site in my area. Gives me an idea of what is going on inside the fenced-in area. I have always enjoyed the sound tracks also . Thanx for the time and effort. JB
Pretty cool operation he has there!! This should take care of the mulcher comments!! Who doesn’t have $1.4 M sitting around!!
Euro snowflakes just whine.
Their govt takes care of them & they have no idea what it costs.
There will be five new, very wise viewers on Monday.
Who knew how complicated making coloured mulch can be? Thoroughly enjoyed listening to the explanation. Thank you.
An amazing operation! Ryan knows his "business".....from start to finish! Makes one feel good to know that there is a recycling business taking things to the MAX!!!!!!! Thanks, Chris, for the info video! 👍👏😍
His name is Ryan, not Brian. I pick right up on that because my name is Ryan lol

I didn't even know places like this existed. I'm surprised how interesting it is. Thanks for bringing us along.
We have a yard for wood waste around here but its nowhere near as nice as that, the same comment Chris made about the crappy blocks that are sold… same applies to the folks that sell mulch out of the yard here, doesnt even begin to compare to Ryans
Few acres for that operation
Thanks for watching!
I'm near Winston Salem & a friend I went to high school with has been doing this for about 25 yrs his goal is to bury nothing
Hey Chris !!! Thank you for videoing this action at Ryan's !!! Saw Mike in there ,but NO Comment from him as saw his video too !! Onto Atlanta & the Hyundai Play yard with the big toys !!HAHA 👍👍👍👍👍
This was really cool to watch. Never knew how those processes worked. Chris is always bringing us something interesting when he goes on vacation.
Really enjoying you talking about the logistics and decision making on job sites.
Thanks Chris. I've learned a lot from the previous one and this one. What an operation this guys has! Learned something new! Love it!
Totally impressive-- Thanks to all!

He does a great job telling the story!
It really shows this guy is passionate about his work! It's nice to see honestly. Running a well oiled machine!
Thanks!!
Held my attention, all 31 minutes and 50 seconds... Really cool!
Thanks for the tour Chris. What an amazing operation, that is one smart man, making the most of everything.
Appreciate you watching!
I can't wait to see if he does asphalt recycling. I really like using it in driveways
Haven’t tried Any asphalt…..yet

Definitely a class act operation.
Landfill operators are the best at finding a market for everything! All while charging for product coming in and out of the operation.
Those Horse blocks are cool
Great insight into all the different operations 👌
More tours like this! Ray
One hell of an operation there. Thanks for sharing Chris, I'll be watching more of Mr. Digg's channel.

Chris I have only one word to describe it, WOW
I always figured that unused concrete just went straight back into the mixing plant. I had no idea they made blocks out of the spare stuff!
Economies of scale in action, right there.
Great Info and content! Alot of mulch! ❤
With him making the design on the block that was smart on his business & well worth the extra money & the inner-locking system it's much better then just the V groove !
Love making the blocks!
He's a smooth operator. It's a beautiful day to mulch and pour, then rinse and repeat. Cool video.
Hahaha Thanks!

That red grinder is a hell of a machine quite a price tag to😮 8:23
1.4 Million Dollars.
Quiete a price tag, indeed.
Thank goodness for Wells Fargo! 😂
Props to you, Chris, for doing the video and props to Mr. Diggs for heaven, such a cool operation
Thanks Buddy!
I really enjoyed seeing this. Especially the education around the economics of recycling. Too easy to over simplify and forget about the costs.
That fella has got it going on! Not only does he run a landfill, he also runs a mulch making business and makes concrete blocks.
He also owns a huge sand mjne.called Atomic Sand and a very big Garden Center.
Thanks Bud!
Quite the operation. I like that he recycles everything possible.
Chris, big thanks for sharing this, very interesting multifaceted operation.

Very interesting video. Thank you for sharing!!! I had no idea there was so much to it. Nothing but respect to all of our farmers.
I don’t envy the expense required to keep all those grinders and crushers up to standard. Thanks for this operation!
