  • Here at Williams C&D Landfill in Graniteville, SC several recycling operations work to find synergy with the ever increasing flow of trash. Full Circle Aggregates washes and screens the sand with its KPI sand washing plant and John Deere Loaders to make a quality C33 concrete sand for the ready mix industry. They also crush concrete using Sandvik, Kobelco, & Volvo equipment to create a salable recycled aggregate. GreenGo Recycling takes green waste and processes it with Rotochopper grinders. Hyundai loaders are used to feed these grinders and to load the trucks with finished product. This little landfill operation sure has become busy over the past few years with all of it recycling operations! Thanks for watching y'all!!

Howdy Mr D… thank you for your reply, I’m glad Courtney is wise enough to know how we Brits refer to you folk. I’m almost 70 yrs old now, I come from a time not too long after WW2. Growing up in a tiny farming village, pretty isolated from most other folk. During WW2 we had American troops stationed in our village, under canvas in the parklands of our village Manor House. Of course the officers were all given rooms in the Manor House itself. I’m told that most of the troops were African American, and as a kid I often heard talk about the yank troops stationed here. How most if not all of my village had never set eyes on a Black American, how kind the yanks were to the kids and everyone. Your guys clearly had made a very good and very long lasting impression on us Brits cos it’s now more than 70 years since, but here I am needing to tell you that your guys have never been forgotten.
As for what name or term you Yanks can use when referring to us… rather than using any profanities 😂😂 it seems that mostly you guys call us Brits, or British. That term embraces all of us over here…the English, Scots, Welsh as well as the Northern Irish.
I wish you well Mr D, my sincere respects 👍

    Good vids, good content.
Hard to believe cardboard isn’t being recycled. Would believe there was big money in it.
I live in Norway, and everything gets recycled here. (Almost)
Private persons must sort everything at the dump site. Everything goes into a designated container.
Even the trash from households, that the city picks up, people goes through and sort at a factory.
But everything isn’t 100% here either. Even though we r on top on recycling, we sell our waste to Sweden, they burn it to make energy. We don’t burn it, cause it’s not “clean” enough😮
Everything is trucked to Sweden, trucks go empty back.
And energy companies here buy waste from Scotland, comes on ships, (square balls) we unload it, and it gets trucked to the factory and burned. I work on the docks, and I can say: the “clean” waste we import, is just the same (if not worse) as the one we export to Sweden.
Some thing just don’t make sense, but hey, it creates work for me.
Also involved in metal recycling. Everything there is being used over, and made to re-bar.
    Keep up the good work!

@@TheRealMrDiGG I see, thats a shame, you would reduce the amount of waste by quite a significant amount, I think its something as high as 80% as all you have to deal with is the ash, while also generating more power for the grid. On top of that, if the ash tests to be fine and largely pollutant free you could also use the ash in composting as well, if not then all you have to do is dump the ash into the pit and im fairly certain a few ton of ash is a lot easier to compact and deal with than a few ton of misc. garbage

I have 90% no idea what I'm talking about but, I got through life that way, so far so, what the Hell. If you determine that their is any gold in that sand, seems to me since your already washing it, couldnt someone like that Freddy Dodge guy from Goldrush show, design a seperate wash to get out the gold, but might slow the rest of your line down too much, no idea.
