This is an extremely good video! Now sure all the stocked trout are in crazy overfished ponds, but still, well done my friend! I would LOVE seeing one of these style videos for steelhead… Keep working hard man! Tight lines! 🎣🎣🎣
Thanks man, I appreciate the feedback! I’ll make sure to post a steelhead one once I get steelheading footage this fall. If you want to get on some great stocked trout fishing, come down to PA! Tight lines🎣🤙🏾
@@troutmasteroutdoors I’ve been to what is considered “opening day” for stock trout, and it’s rough… literally I was there at 8 in the morning and the entire pond was packed, and people already had their limits on the stringers. If there’s any good stocked streams near Erie… I may make the drive up… 🎣🎣🎣
@@OHCreekFishing trust me man, opening day is not a good representation of trout fishing, it’s combat fishing at its finest🤣 There r a ton of low pressure streams in the south west portion of the state, but our best trout fishing is in eastern pa
Very informative video, especially the fly selection and fish locating parts. I might give it a year or two before I make the leap to fly fishing. Looks like a lot fun and very rewarding.
Great video. You brought the basics to light. In a down to earth way with some nice footage on the water. Sometimes I’ve found using a yarn indicator with a small rubber band like the ones for kids braces means a little less disturbance in a heavy pressure area. Flies you picked sure work where I like to fish. Enjoy the Spring
@@troutmasteroutdoors absolutely 👍 just caught my first stocked trout on the fly last weekend. Wish I’d have seen this first Expecially where to find them I hiked miles with literally one leg to accomplish it and I probably could’ve caught more sooner with this info 😂. No to mention the 1.6 million flys i tried lol 😝
@@astronomy195assignments3 I’ve been thinking about doing so for a while! The issue is finding time now that I’m in college. Over winter break I will do my best to make a pt 2. Thanks for watching!
Just a heads up, I forgot to add a small detail when describing the tippet ring setup, the info is in the description! Thanks for watching!
