Gruden loves the veneer of the raiders of excessive violence and bringing in has teens and intimidating others. But the raiders were at the vanguard to hire a woman as a CEO and hire the first black coach. As a side note the raiders also created fantasy football and through there play have changed more rules than any other team.

I have been a Raiders fan since 1979 and a Gruden fan from back when he 1st coached the team, but- as you put it best, Rich- his continuing to be a representative of the Team, the Players, Fans and the NFL in any capacity was untenable.
I most hope that he and so many others learn from this experience in that, yes, words do matter, inclusivity is not suggested, rather required and that hateful speech will not be tolerated.
I feel very sorry for his family and how embarrassing this must all be for them. You do not just hurt others with your words, but those you actually do care about, as well. ✌☠🖤
