I'm Enrico's great great great grandson(I don't know exactly how many greats but I do know im related to him). I recently heard his recordings for the first time and I have to say, he has an amazing voice.

My grandfathers cousin is Nina Morgana Zirato! She was close to Caruso he sent her to Italy to study and Nina “Baby Patti” married Caruso’s manager, Giovanni Zirato! Small world

No, and the synchronized snippet doesn't even have the introduction, "Recitar!" Just "Vesti la giubba" to the end.

Do a search for a TH-cam post from CinetecaBologna entitled "The sound of silence: Enrico Caruso canta, forte e chiaro, in un film del 1918!" Just be aware that it isn't the whole scene, just "Vesti la giubba" through to the end, there are lots of asides to the audience, and it's a 1918 film synched (not too badly) to the 1907 recording. But it's more than we've ever had before! It may not be like those Vitaphones with Schipa or Martinelli or Raisa, but it's something!
