This week has been especially difficult for me because of illness, the sudden loss of friends and missing family members. There will always be days where things weigh us down and the light seems dim. Laura, you & Aaron need to know how much peace you bring to my day and you somehow make my world a brighter place. We all deal with despair and grief but I also know that with morning comes the light. Sometimes it just helps to have a gentle pour of good...that's what you do; you pour some good into my day. Thank you.

With the baby, she could have had a night terror, one of my twins had them and we ended up at the ER once bc it lasted over an hour. One thing you should always check is their little toes bc a thread from their socks or a hair can wrap around a toe and cause a lot of pain… just throwing out a couple ideas. When my daughter had night terrors at around two or so, I would hug her close and take her to the kitchen and give her a sip of cold water, which would wake her just enough that she would realize she was with mommy, and then I’d put her back to bed. She would wake at around 11:30 every night, and it lasted for months. When I would talk to her she wouldn’t reply and she seemed as though she wasn’t actually awake, but crying in her sleep. Long time ago now.

Yes, our neighbors pet cats attack the wild birds on our bird feeders…have taken many cardinals! They hide out under our Japanese maple tree & our front porch deck. The cats are mostly active in the spring , summer & early Fall. We are now having hawks flying in snatching up mice & rabbits on our landscape & land.

Lol, I am from Houston Tx, and we called them Lozengers too! I thought it was a southern thing!!! Recently I told my daughter we should pick up some lozengers before winter sets in, and she looked at me in horror, I said you know cough drops and she said read the box!!! Either was it the OLD cough medicine, you know the one with alcohol in it, blurred our vision, or we too sick to care to say it properly, who kmows but, you made me laugh this morning! Hope you get to feeling better Aaron!

My daughter had an episode like that after a nap, and we’ve wondered if she had a nightmare. The only thing that brought her out of it was rocking in the rocking chair together. ❤

I think it would be appreciated if you chose to post the videos over the Christmas holiday. Not everyone has family or can see family over the holidays for one reason or another. I think it would provide a lot of happiness and cheer to so many people if you decide to post. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas!! 🎄🎅🏼❤️💚

OMGosh!!! Magic trick when your child has an emotional breakdown is to wash their face with cold water. Either with just your hand or face cloth. When it happened to my niece after waking from her nap. My sister picked her up, brought her to the bathroom sink, soaked a face cloth in cold water and patted it on her face. Instantly brought her back from where ever she was emotionally and calmed her down. ✨
