It's such a nice touch to watching these matches, they are clearly very knowledgeable about the game but since they aren't actually playing they can react with us (the audience) and even crack a joke, here and there

Can anyone explain to me exactly what a "winners semifinals" is? The only other professional tournaments I watch is tennis, and I don't understand the concept of a winners/losers semifinal, winners/losers final, etc etc.
I have been maining Ike since Brawl and I have never been able to make him look anywhere near as sexy as MK Leo makes him look just picking him up 😶 this guy is incredible at this game, he can make anyone look top 5
Honestly yeah. I hated his playstyle in 4. The game rewarded being campy and defensive, so now that he can't hide behind a wall of projectiles and shield grabbing, he's gonna get bodied like this. It's so beautiful I love it.

Just the ones who played Palutena in smash 4 are the really good ones, they have more practice, yeah, but it's like they have a connection with the character because they play her because they like the character and not because she's good

Hbox is definitely not bad, but i really prefer the more natural commentary that isn't just two people literally saying what is happening as it happens, as if I'm not watching the footage myself. "MK LEO LOOKING FOR THAT UPAIR BUT HAS TO GO FOR A GRAB AND OHHHH WOW HE GETS THE FORWARD AIR AND PALUTENA GETS SENT OFF THE STAGE!!!!" ... Is that really necessary? Is that helpful? Interesting? Insightful? Funny? No, it's not. It's just noise. You don't have to be blabbing constantly just because you're on the mic. Wait until something noteworthy happens and comment on it if you have something worthwhile to say about it. Otherwise STFU please
