    This is the only video that give the correct way to dis-assemble the juicer parts. The other videos available on youtube are showing the wrong and dangerous procedure.

    I bought the Philips juicer 4/5 years ago, used it nearly everyday and it's still going strong. Juice master is the best, I enjoy his book. ps I like this new model too.

    i use mine many times a day, totally recommend it. my son who refused to drink anything but water now requests carrot juice daily (w/ some veg secretly thrown in of course). HOWEVER, all the marketing hype about "quick clean" borders on lies - yes its easy to assemble, quick to juice & reasonably quick to clean; but the fine mesh ALWAYS needs a thorough scrub, coz fibres get trapped in it;takes me around 5 min to clean, not 1 minute as they claim. Its a great product, dont need lies to sell it.

    I always eat the pulp especially of oranges, carrots and apples. Its delicious and probably quite good for you too. Although if you end up juicing say three or four oranges you dont relaly need to eat all of it, thats a bit much..I usually eat about a little less than half of the pulp and throw the rest out.

    If you follow her instructions be ready to burn the motor very quickly. Phillip clearly warns that the machine must be turned on before juicing fruits or veggies. She is making hot apple cider because she is forcing the apples through the machine

    • @michaellim7002
      @michaellim7002 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You are 100% right. She probably NEVER read the user manual before presenting this video. Always must switch on the juicer first before you put in the fruits/vegies in the inlet valve, and must not use force to push down the fruits to hasten the juicing time in order to maximize juicing output.

      Hi Joanna Kucharska. Usually, the stronger the motor power a product has, the more juice you can get from your fruit and vegetables.
      Philips tell us they measure the difference of performance in terms of the number of litres of juice you can produce in one go.
      For example, the Philips 800~1000W juicers make up to 2.5L of juice in one go. The 700W juicer (HR1855) makes up to 2.0L juicer in one go.
      We hope this helps you pick the correct juicer for your needs...

    wondering something. When you juice fruits with skinn on, for exampel lemon, or orange, do not the skinn also mixes into the juice? And , do you not need to wash the skinn on these friuts first? imange how many people have toutching these fruits with there hands , lots of germs and bacteria will end up in the juice!?

    • @appliancesonlineAU
      @appliancesonlineAU  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a great point crippa1983. Some juicers you can put the whole fruit through, including the skin, but we would always recommend washing the produce under warm water before-hand to get rid of any bacteria or wax...

    • @appliancesonlineAU
      @appliancesonlineAU  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Yatrik. You can put through all your fruits in the Philips QuickClean, skins, seeds and all. It will separate the pulp, leaving you with just the juices you want. But if it is still too bitter, try not including skin in future. Should the flavour still not be to your taste, try juicing some apples with it to sweeten it up.

    By juicing you might get some micronutrients/ vitamins but you will also miss out on a lot of important fibers which maintains and improves your digestion... Additionally your sugar intake most likely will go up , probably not the best buy if you are trying to loose weight. I wonder how many vitamins and minerals go to the bin??

    • @appliancesonlineAU
      @appliancesonlineAU  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      You're right about not throwing the vitamins and minerals away findmads. There is certainly some nutritional value remaining in the pulp that can be utilised. We recommend using it for patties, rissoles, or in spring rolls.

      Philips Juicer technical upgrade to address motor issue: October 2014 Philips improved the robustness of this juicer to meet customers’ increased usage of the product. This model has been fitted with a higher quality motor and has passed testing to ensure that it works under extreme voltage environments (peaks of voltage up to 270V) and extreme stress with hard fruits / vegetables (continuous juicing of 40 kg of carrots and apples).

    It's OK with carrots & fleshy fruits but failed on the third day of pressing ginger. The metallic filter just reapped open. Another problem though, 2 side clips are very fragile when the plastic bits breaks, you got a Boeing trying to take off in your kitchen ✈️👈😅
    Don't buy it if you're a production factory or restaurant who's going to press a lot of ginger.

    if you really want to get the best out of your juice you need to get a cold press/masticating/twin gear/vert juicer the oxidation and heat produced in centrifugal blenders kills of some of the vitamins and enzymes in the veg, also centrifugal blenders aren't good at extracting juice from leafy greens :( that being said I HAVE to use a centrifugal until i save the £400 I need to buy a decent cold press and It's better off to have a lower quality juice than none at all :D

    • @michaellim7002
      @michaellim7002 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not true for all juices. The Centrifugal (Philips/Breville etc) Juicer are more suitable for hard fibre fruits/vegies such as celery, carrots, beetroots, apples, pineapples, broccoli, cauliflower compare to cold press slow juicer; but less suitable for green leafy vegetables, softer fibre fruits. I had both types of juicer (Kuvings, Breville) plus my faithful Nutribullet Prime 1000W. The celery and Kale fibre always get stuck on the Kuvings Cold Press pulp outlet which also slows down the cleaning times. As such, I can't juice lots of celery juices at one go.

The dose of toxins in apple seeds is small enough that your body can easily detoxify it, so that's why we put the apples in whole.

    This is not quick to clean and produces soooo much pulp. a bag of carrots got me less than 200 ml. It took me 10 minutes to clean not the 1 minute as advertised.

      Dan Lew, sounds like a lot of carrots went into the machine! That volume may have caused performance issues, and made it slightly harder to clean than on most occasions. All the pulp can be used for patties, rissoles, or even spring rolls...

      Appliances Online Australia Ooh good idea :) After a few more uses I take back what I said its a good little machine BUT it does not take a minute to clean. It does take a good 5 minutes to clean it properly.

      Hi Dan Lew . Glad to read you're getting more out of your machine now. Five minutes isn't too bad, and maybe Gab just gets it down to a minute because she's such a pro on the product :)

      Dan Lew Hi Dan! To make your daily life faster and easier you can also decide to just rinse the parts (wash the sieve however) on daily basis right after juicing and wash it properly once a week. That's how I do it to make my morning juicing super fast :)

      salar morsali Due to the working nature of the showroom where we filmed, we unfortunately had some background noise. We've moved into a studio to film, so we'd like to think we've improved no end when it comes to our new material! Check out our latest Philips reviews here: th-cam.com/video/R14cjD48Xg4/w-d-xo.html

      That is correct, Cat Zingaro. We believe it's down to leaving the skin ON when throwing the pineapple in. :)

    DO NOT purchase this juicer.. mine was Faulty/Returned FOUR TIMES & the last time a certified philips "repair center" returned it to me "UN REPAIRED!", COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY.
