I see Kapustin, I click.
His playing is like breathing in a breath of fresh air. I went into a pretty deep depression when he died. His music and piano playing is so important to me.
Три вещи можно созерцать бесконечно: как горит огонь, как журчит вода и как разворачиваются во времени композиции Капустина! 🎉
we finally have a score video of this set, very epic and based
Such such genius jazz and compositional candy on a bed of super piano technique
No. 3 is #1 for me. No. 6 is also wonderful (I love the 'doorbell' harmony at 11:40)
Phenomenal. Unashamedly virtuosic but densely musical. Glorious pianism.
GRAZIE ! grazie, grazie! Il lavoro che si fa in questo canale e' davvero qualcosa di meraviglioso
very cool, very epic, very based, very cash money, a certified Nicholas Kapusterd moment even
lol this comment bussin outta control for real, no cap

Amazing video!
I'm your 400th subscriber btw 👀
That’s so fucking nice!! I love his bagatelles I even uploaded the number 9 (poorly) recently because I didn’t saw it nowhere. Thanks god you did it with all of them!!!
Unfathomably based
Kapustin music spells ragtime and pops with fantastic atonal harmony! Difficult to play..

Looks like the 'hinton" that's been monitoring Kapustin uploads on YT is no more. Great news.
💀
💀
Who's that Hinton?
do more kapustin please!!!
It seems the 2nd one is very similar to his 7th étude. Perhaps he used the same chord progression
I found the "lick"
where!?
@@AfonsoCM 21:40
@@Pianodud based “the lick”
@@AfonsoCM the past bagatelle is based off the lick
How can I contact you? 🙂
Does anyone know who published these? The sheet music looks like nicer editions compared to others I've seen.
Schott most likely
@@Bulacanos Definitely Schott. I bought op59 from them and this is it.
May I ask you to share score with me? 🥺 I spent ages looking for a score with the proper fingering...
Score can be bought from Schott Music.
23:12 bro, am I tripping or my mans hiding the lick in his music in 1991 💀 (listen carefully, its pretty subtle)
The whole Bagatelle is about the lick
2:37 is that a synth? if not, how did Kapustin manage to reach that sound?
Notes a 12th apart create this weird harmonic effect when the top note is played very softly: an early example can be found also in Saint-Saens Piano Concerto 5, in the second movement.
@@EmilianoManna i think he meant the chord before, it all sounds like piano either way.
@@EmilianoManna The 12th is the 3rd harmonic in the harmonic series, and by doubling overtones in such fashion you obtain a sound not unlike that of an organ with the mixture stops pulled (the mixture stops double the upper harmonics). Indeed, Saint-Saëns does not only double the 3rd harmonic in his piano concerto, but also the 5th, omitting the 2nd and 4th harmonics, which double at the octave and double octave, respectively. Seeing as Saint-Saëns was an organist, he most likely got the idea for this effect from the aforementioned mixture stops.
Another, more fully realised example of this effect may be found in Ravel's Boléro, after letter 8. The melody is in the horn (1st harmonic), while the celesta doubles the 2nd & 4th and two piccolos the 3rd & 5th upper harmonics. The horn is marked mf, the celesta p (doubling in octaves) and the piccolos pp. The 3rd and 5th partial deviate slightly from equal temperament, so I suppose he gave them to the piccolos because they are always out of tune anyway. This passage is sometimes cited as an example of polytonality, but it is really more of an effect than genuine polytonal music.
Я не понимаю ваш вопрос! Аккорд берётся на педаль и на его фоне двумя руками параллельно и на широкой дистанции НЕ в унисон, а в параллельном движении, ведется пассаж, что в этом удивительного или сверхъестественного?)
