    Nice work and great to see some humour at the end too. Do you have plans to ride this beast once you've finished or flip it for another project?

      Oh yeah I’m definitely keeping this one for a few years once it’s complete. I’ve already got the next project lined up in the form of the ZX7R. Also the RVF needs a bit of love too at some point so these three will keep me busy for a few years yet!

    Oh man!!!! Again I cried in laughter 😂😂😂
    You did an amazing job as usual. Was not expecting anything less. It's a pain in the ass to remove/install the steering wheel bearings! Especially if you don't have the bearing remover kit. You did it old school which is great!
    I'm looking forward to see it finished!!!!

      Haha cheers Chris, yeah I’m slowly building up handy tools to make jobs easier, but still have a lot left to go 😂 I’m pretty confident it’ll be having its first test ride in a few months. (That’s when I find out how many of the jobs I’ve ballsed up!)

    Front suspension’s from R1 01 ?

    • @tomsworkshopprojects
      @tomsworkshopprojects  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s the stock front end for the ‘94 model, though it’s very similar in design to the R1 front end compared to the earlier FZRs

    Always get a good laugh from your videos. Just the right content in terms of detail. You've helped me decide that I haven't got the gonads to change the head bearings on my ZXR myself, so she's going to my mechanic! 😅

      Haha cheers 😆 Yeah I know some people like to promote the “You can do it all” mentality but I try to be transparent about what I found straightforward and what can be a pain!

    Hello, which R6 front master cylinder did you use, which year?

      It was from an ‘02, I think I go a bit more into detail on the Blue Spot conversion video if you haven’t seen that already.

    Awesome stuff. Be careful with using steel hammers directly onto bearing races though, very easy to deform them 👍🏻
