I found a better shifter that works on the grom that use all the stock mounting locations so you don't ever have to worrie about braking stuff once the bike drop
Just letting everyone know. This upgrade is absolutely garbage, the gear changing is to close, very difficult to find neutral. Also clutch doesn't always let you shift properly, leave it stock. Buyer beware!!!
There has to be a good reason for Honda to go to the trouble of designing and manufacturing the elaborate linkage instead of just mounting a simple lever directly onto the shifter shaft. They didn't become the world's largest engine maker by putting bikes together willy-nilly.
Nice video, can you provide a link to the gear shift please
That is an upgrade I did on my Benelli TNT and very worthwhile doing just for the feel of it.
Yeah absolutely. How you been Will ?
@@nicksepisode good thanks, strangely loving the ‘keep it pinned’ life of 125cc four stroke ownership😁
Take a look at the 3min video I put up of how I modded my bike extensively for £300.

Where can you find this. Thanks
I'm back, couldn't stay away.
Welcome back 👋🏻 - Jo
I was a little disappointed, Simon, as you've been following the channel for a very long time. It's good you are back, though.
What did the engineer that thought that slack in the gear lever was necessary, smoke that day?
Lol. I think its designed to be forgiving haha
Or upgrade to a 750 Hornet😂😂
Haha good one 👍
Begs the question why Honda don’t fit a decent one
I think it's something to do with it being more forgiving

I’ve since took mine off, I agree with you after living with this
@@nicksepisode thank you.absolutly garbage
