    100% I would rather see a 100% honest review than one that is cut and pasted and censored by the companies. I think the companies are doing themselves a disservice for doing that. Showing there are issues is good, it helps make better products, not just sales. I am still working on getting started, I need real reviews on products as I don't have money to waste on bad resin or ones are not a fit for my projects. we are all in that spot. I love this channel and the reviews. yes, it does give good info on what resins to buy and not buy or look at for why they are bad. Money is tight for a lot of us. I will have a budget if you can subscribe, but if I can, I will. I think you got good info from this channel. You should, too. Thank you, Yves, for the great videos and reviews. Please keep them coming.

    Im interested in FDM printing and woodworking. Woodworking and 3D printing can be combined very well.
    You are right with the search engine algorithm, sometimes it is very hard to find videos from 'not so big' channels.

    Definitely appreciate honesty on reviews. Have a channel myself that recently got monetized after an embarrassing amount of years lol. I tried to do more general "maker" videos (this my name) with wood working (tanks), van building (tanks), but recently 3d printing has picked up steam. It is what it is I suppose. good luck, plenty of us are generalist anyways and just like building stuff with our hands.

    Your video's are very informative and fits more in my line of work ( functional prints ) . Great content . Maybe an idea to also focus more ( information ) on post processing ? To get the best quality out of the resins tested in question? I'm guessing there are alot of 'engineers' out there like me 😅...

    Noizie, you're a good dude and doing it right, great idea to open the membership possibilities.
    Regarding the HeyGears situation, you should have agreed to do it, because that seems like a really good printer (definitely better than the Formlabs 💩).
    I think they're afraid of getting "rammed" by "more established" competitors' sponsored shill channels.
    In any case, you might be able to "dodge" that kind of situation easily with a probably good printer like the HeyGears or anyone else's - take the printer and do the review, according to their conditions, have the review out, and then make another 'bonus' video afterwards with 'extra content' if you need to 🙂
    If they don't ask for any substantial edits (I mean the kind that equals hiding some serious fault), praise them for it.
    The reason I'm writing all of that is that it's a shame to leave reviews of what looks like well-made printers with probably some serious advantages in the hands of ignoramuses and/or shills (like the compensated hosts most of the 'big' 3D resin printing channels as we know).

    • @NoizieWorks
      @NoizieWorks  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I know and i got tempted but demanding this is absolute bs.
      Not only that, one of the other lines is to not adjust the review for the next months, providing video and pictures of the models so it's basically an ad at that point.
      I see where you are coming from but contractually agreeing to something like this is a slippery slope.

      @@NoizieWorks No problem, I understand, you stood on principles and that's rare and good.
      The irony is that for example, when a good (smaller) printer company gives a printer to youtubers with no restrictions (except to make a video review) and then end up getting rammed by an ignorant añüs with lots of subscribers (and sponsorships from the big printer companies) who pretends to be a 3D hotshot because he can print miniatures with his blurry self-named resin, and now 30,000 or so people who might've been interested will go and buy some POS printer instead...
      And another sad thing is, those companies that spend much more money on marketing than R&D are never short of shills and their fanbois to keep pushing their crap and snuffing out better companies.

    I started watching this channel because of resin print , have done FDM printing for years but was curious about resin printing so now I got a Uniformation gktwo setup (just like rigth now) , I am printing functional stuff 90% of the time , some content of functional part printing in resin will be highly appreciated since there is very limited content around that topic, keep up the good work and I appreciate that you have gone the honest route ..that will be a better choice for the long run Im sure

      @@NoizieWorks Well yes , but its maybe not relevant for you , Just bought a Sovol SV08 printer (still wating for it) most of the cad models are free online and I absolutly hate the color of the injection molded parts on there, stuff like that to resin print seems like a maybe to big challenge for a newbee resin printer ..and perhaps pointless in regard to if the parts even will last for that use (im thinking of using ABS like for that)...content like that is very limited, thoug I have seen some Prusa MK3S models with resin printed parts.

    it seems like an easy question to answer. A review needs to be independent, and must therefore not accept anything from a manufactuer. Also, it's impossible to rate their support if they know who you are. However there are a lot of reviews already out there. You have the unique ability that you actually understand the topic, and could make some excellent instructional videos printing all the things people generally say you can't print. Another thing I recently tried to print is (nerf gun) flywheels, and of course FDM lacks the precision to balance the wheel. Resin might, but outside of megacorp engineering labs or the Chinese resin makers, who really knows? :-)

    • @NoizieWorks
      @NoizieWorks  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think generally accepting products for review for free isn't the problem. It's a problem when they pay you behind the scene or want any preview or editorial decisions.
      It's more do you trust the reviewer to be objective or not.
      That's why i never use affiliated links so i don't have monetary gains influencing the video.
      I think it's perfectly possible to test support with a fake email adres as long it's not a day 1 review.
      I actually did that for qidi on the next review.
      I understand how something works but making instructional video's are a hole other can of worms but if i'm between projects i'm planning to test it out.
