5:58 I just started this video and sometimes when I watch your stuff I almost feel like you are following me. I have been working on teaching people around me because I learned it God gave us the power to make the choices on how we feel and to control our thoughts and reactions. So before I even watch anymore of this I just had to say I'm with you 100% brother.

So excited for this topic as I rebuild my brain after a complete memory loss 3 years ago. I have noticed this last few months that triggers are causing me to revert to a child’s reaction to situations that would not have bothered me prior to- thanks Ed for always posting topics that are exactly what I need in the moment!

❤ Thank you, God, for beautiful 😍 teachers. I have dyslexia. At home, my life was very chaotic and difficult. I was called stupid. I know now I'm smart and a hard worker. Words matter what you say to others and yourself.

There’s a guy that’s been trying to bully me for 2 years. He said “Do you know what they call people who live on their boats? “trash.” I just replied respectfully, “that’s not what God calls me”
I was surprised because I just met him at the public boat launch and he didn’t even know me.
I usually smile and say hello to everyone so I’m not sure why he disliked me, but I just keep praying for him

@@meanvecktor1900 Bullies pick up on people’s inability to challenge them in any meaningful way. “Nice” against toxic doesn’t work. Putting on the armor of god does but it also demands looking people square in the eyes and soul with the intense understanding that society will not fall to evil nor the addiction to control no getting mad, just a simple boundary that resonates in the soul.
That said God calls us to be like Jesus, and HE even flipped some tables over in his day. Go get some Jesus boundaries. Time for MEN to stop being “nice” and START being KIND and standing up in this world to the addicts that are taking our society down a road of moral decay. Principles above personalities!

Dude your examples of being apathetic are exactly WHY our society is falling into the hands of insane people.
Anger is simple a sign that things are not okay. It’s not ok for one family to disturb a whole restaurant while “nice” people sit there. And the codependency of a waiter apologizing to YOU. You should be apologizing to the young waiter because YOU have the emotional resources and therefore responsibility to ACT but because that would make YOU uncomfortable and perhaps wifey you failed to.
A Leader could have gotten up with a smile with god intentions (good but auto correct may be right here) of assisting a family in their insane mode and offered crayon, offered a ear, offered the TRUTH that we all had situations that we were fighting and to pop the bubble of “obsessive me-ness” that these people don’t even see how they affect others and let the kids know a boundary when their own parents FAILED to make one. These interactions do not need anger they need a leader with skill.
You give an example of being just another apathetic man just concentrating on their own “feelings” and own family when you SAW a situation you could have brought light to but instead you allowed more humans to blindly take public spaces in lieu of being “nice” which is INSANE.
You feeling good about yourself because you kept your “cool” is as selfish as the family because in both situations only the emotions are being focused on..,life principles and a healthy functioning society with natural consequences as teachers lost that day.
If you wanted to be KIND you could have walked over offered to pay for their meal noting that it looks like they are having hard time controlling their kids in public then PARENTING them yourself and saying you will be watching them if they fall out of line. So many ways to go about this. And you did what everyone always does. Slow clap.
Our men have failed to be Fathers of wisdom and leadership and it is a gaslight that daddy should control himself when insanity is occurring 10 feet from him.

Every action you take is like casting a vote towards the person you want to become

    • @Lifetimelearningisbrave
      @Lifetimelearningisbrave 4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Said every apathetic person ever.
The reason WHY kids become healthy members of society is because parents hold boundaries with love and take principled actions daily.
There are a huge amount of children walking in adult bodies as they never received correction to bad behavior, loving boundaries around addictive material like the girly videos most dudes pretend they are hooked on, and loving consequences for actions that are not principled rooted in integrity.
In short when you farm out the most important job to less qualified candidates you get what you pay for and that’s a trained society of apathetic humans that have no idea what family, tribe, and interpersonal relationships take.
Keep farming out your society to people that don’t witness it…and you are seeing how that plays out.
      You GET what you allow.
