I was at a nightclub in Miami one evening and felt compelled to approach a stranger and comfort him. As soon as I saw him it's as if something else took over my body and made me walk over to him. I told him that I could feel that he was at a low point in his life but that he is being divinely protected by loved ones who have crossed over. I was experiencing a profoundly strong energy surrounding him and could also feel his immense grief. He didn't say a word back so I just gave him a hug and walked away. He found me later that night and told me his mother had recently passed and that he was really struggling with her sudden loss. He was in shock and had so many questions about how I knew but to this day I still have just as many questions about this experience and others that can't be explained.

I suffered from depression and suicidal ideation for many years and like to share how I was able to overcome them in hopes that it may help others. In general, it was through spiritual awakening. But two specific things were 1) I've listened to Mooji's pointings now for 10 yrs, but it was a response he had to a question about suicide that was a key for me, he said that the voice that was trying to convince to kill the body and the silent belief in that voice were of the same mind construct, and then I was able to very clearly see this going on inside, and I realized what I truly am was seeing this all happening. A separation occurred between what I truly am and what I am not (mind) at a very subtle level and 2) I'm in a 12 step program which helps to resolve fears and resentments. It's as though these are "food" that the mind ruminates on, just like a cow chewing a cud, and when removed, that mind quiets, it has no food.

I am grateful to have found this community. I believe that I heard this message when I was ready and would like to share my experience. I’ve struggled with depression for a long time, but only now am able to recognize that each time I felt like I wanted to end my life it was because there was more to the situation. I understand now that I didn’t truly want to kill my physical self, but that my soul was telling me there was something in my mind that needed to die. Something is not serving me in my journey. I am hopeful that I will also conquer this obstacle and hope this helps someone on their journey.

i got 3 people from an existing crowd from almost a decade of studying this stuff: crowley, tesla, and einstein, while others like Yeshua, Thoth, St. Germaine, Krishna, Innana, Enki, etc. were in the background at peace.
crowley to the left of me said "you're very secretive, but shine your light", einstein to the right said "your light is us (consciousness)" and tesla in front of me said "from where your heart is now, you now see, we thank you."
never have i bursted into tears immediately.
higher self was something else. it was like a whole "nexus" as Dr. Miller explains. kinda like that visual on Kurzgesagt's "egg" video, where the higher self says "there are others before me, but you wouldn't understand." but now i see why. and I appreciate this and anyone reading.
this life is lit asf! :D

My last psychotic episode i think was an awakening of sorts because i saw everyone as mirror reflections of my consciousness emitnating my words and thoughts, for better and worse back to me. And for that, it was supposed to heal me of all the negative thoughts i had about myself in order to heal those thoughts and not think negatively about myself anymore.
Don't worry, I'm much better now, and I've got through the hard part, but it was an interesting learning experience to see myself reflected back to help myself grow.

Minute 25:35 "can we go to the future?'" My answer is YES!! I"m a licensed Hypnotherapist and some of my clients instead of going to the past they have been in the future! I did a session 12 years ago to a woman who told me she was in Washington DC (we both live in Long Island) and among other things she told me about climate changes, geographic changes, economic and political changes in different countries, how US was going to be split in 4 different political and geographic areas, militar government for all of them (she said the year was 2042). She told me about how the world was split on less countries and how each continent it's going to have a main kind of industry; I remember US on technology South America agriculture, Africa with minerals and metals, China international commerce as it is now, don't remember the rest. She told me US was #11 country in the rank in the world with China as #1; just 35% of the world population we have today in the world, pharmaceutical medicine did not exist at the time, almost zero crime in US but in the world was somewhat higher. Many things very different as the world is today... she told me about the epidemic and I was astonished when it came true.. Other clients have gone to the future but the did not elaborate too much. When I asked precise questions in all cases I was told they had no permission to share about it... usually the future has to be protected in order to allow all souls to keep their chosen paths as pure as possible..

It's a season of lonliness maybe. If you go into solitude or choose to go into nature alone, you can soon feel connection with self, spirit or nature, just through breathing that in. It may take a while to tune out thoughts of grief and isolation, but it can be done gently to bring the mind to less incoherent thought. You can look up square breathing or heart coherence breathing.
It doesn't sound at all like being ungrateful, but like loss and abandonment feelings. We cannot hang all of our wellbeing on others, but we can refocus on self, spirit, and nature 🙏 🪷

I wonder if you could do the exercise one more time, this time imagining the healed versions of ancestors, family etc (the ones that love you) are drawn to the table like a magnet. This time maybe see their energy (in the form of color) instead of picturing their faces. You could play around with it.
I doubt that no one loves you, many times people are just not healthy enough to show love.

Curiosity and a search for truth leads into spirituality. Religion provides explanations for some, but raises more questions for the hunger and spiritually cravings in most. Learning spiritual connection methods like meditation, leads into awareness and syncronicity and hyper curiosity and mental and physical enhansment. In turn provides soul soothing nourishment and a love and respect for the purpose of all created physical and non physical things. Learning how it is all connected is why we all start the journey. Knowing we will never completely understand why or what, keeps us curious and hungry to learn from and share with each other. That is true spirituality and wisdom you can’t find in a book or a building, but only from a lived experience. And that is the real reason we even born on this very dense planet one LOVE. Namaste my spiritually hungry family. Keep searching within and sharing/ teaching.🧠👓

I really appreciated Dr Lisa Miller's melding of science and spirituality. I've read and listened to a fair amount on both subjects but I found her ideas new, insightful and empowering. Andre was a wonderful interviewer as always.

I happened upon this as I was looking for a meditation to start my day. Thank you for this conversation. I practise energy healing and have been guided (intuitively) in the way Dr. Miller is describing. As time goes on, and I trust the process, the connection, the guidance and the love energy is so present and healing. I feel the more I practise, the stronger and authentic the healing is.

This discussion around making space, depression, awakening as the other side of the door is so wonderful to hear spoken to, never mind found through science ( with consciousness witnessing) to be so . This is the most deeply wondering I experience. Thank you both for this enlightening grounded discussion. May all Be comforted and inpsired .

Absolutely loved this beautiful episode ❤️ Absolutely everything was in resonance with my current experience. I've been moving through deep grief on several levels and I reached a moment last night when I gave it to spirit. I couldn't no longer hold the emptiness and uncertainty and I asked for guidance 🙏 that guidance came through, as Lisa coined, "A horse on fire" today and this episode was a part of that. Thank you eternally for the work that you do, both of you.
