These are all actually b sides from their debut album that will come out officially on 8/1. The title track will be called "Cookie". Thats why they're not yet on streaming platforms. This is more of a predebut I guess. The way Ador (their label in HYBE) went about this is very unique and interesting and it worked! They're gaining insane amount of popularity and are already the fastest girl group to get over 100k preorders in 4th gen in like 34 hours. The fastest used to be Aespa but it took them 4 whole days to get 100k. Insane.

I totally agree with you man, these type of mv’s that they’re doing with NewJeans shows that they’re normal teenagers doing things that are normal for their age, it gives the vibes that they are more approachable than normal. Im totally vibing with their releases and hope they keep going with this kind of sound.

@@haemmj806 probably because the lady in charge of them seems like a p3d0 and has made bad comments about minors.. so they may be inclined to think certain decisions for the group were influenced by that lady.
No Anthony, you're def not wrong about them seeming "relatable" and like "every day girls". I'm 27, but watching this took me back to my childhood lol. It's so nostalgic for me. The sounds of the songs, the styling, the way Attention is shot like a coming-of-age teen drama or something. You didn't react to Hype Boy in this, but I got similar feelings out of that too. The concept is so appropriate for girls their age imo, as the girls are all teens and the MVs just seem like them doing teenager things. I'm really impressed with NewJeans' rollout and concept. I'm very interested to see where they go in the future with these girls. I hope they keep this sound and so long as the girls are minors, they keep it appropriate for them. They definitely stand out for me.

im afraid every song they've dropped so far has been a smash hit. i will be tuning in.
what i love most about new jeans is that they're age appropriate!! they're just teenagers doing teenager things, and i love how they're allowed to be kids. too many kids grow up too quick in the industry via sexualizing and exploitation. i absolutely love their concept, it's flirty and fun! and their sound is amazing, old school but fresh and super vibey. so excited to see where they're headed :)
alsooo forgot to mention its SOO different than what we usually see in kpop!! new jeans feels very original even though their sound is something we'd hear in 2000's pop and r&b. it's nostalgic but new at the same time and idk how thats possible lol

(in korean the lyrics are cutesy but in english it's full of unintentional innuendos) but i do think the company should've known they have a worldwide fanbase so they should've been more careful imo but its not the girls' fault

This video was shot on or around the time of one of the girls birthday. The finger on the mirror was meant to represent a candle. The lipstick was the flame. She blew on the lipstick and it was wiped away, as if she was blowing out a the candle.
New Jeans definitely is going for a more "Grounded" feel. Like anthony said they feel more relatable and less like your typical idols.

I think it’s cool that these girl look relatable and attainable. Their brand is a breath of fresh air. I feel like these songs could be on a TLC album back in the late 90s/early 2000s.

This is exactly what I said, they feel like the concept and vibe is supposed to feel relatable and age appropriate as opposed to some ambiguous we're sexy girls concept. It still bothers me how young they are, but they are undeniably talented and I realllly love the songs and production/instrumentals. They sound absolutely gorgeous.

people say they're "out of sync" but it works so much cause its like intentional lack of perfectness thats reminds you of just having fun without worrying about perfection. i feel like their individual personalities shows in their dancing which makes it so refreshing in a way from the super precise cookie cutter that we're used to now that kinda reminds you that they are in fact very young and imperfect making them relatable to their target audience... i can see them becoming the new it-girls for their age group because of how set apart their entire debut it

their music is definitely perfect to be performed on music festivals or gigs cuz their lyrics are so easy to sing along
if you really only wanna do one video for Hype Boy i recommend watching Minji’s version BUT i recommend watching all four since they all tie together. and surprisingly, listening to Hype Boy four times cus of the MVs made me like listening to it even more than i did the first time (it’s a hit i feel like you’ll like it immediately like i did hehe)

This group is for the LA project they started with that company in America. But this group is amazing, the Mv for attention was shot in Barcelona
you’re wrong. these girls came from the plus girls audition (bighit x source music) back in 2019. this project was managed by min heejin. a year later she created her own label and the trainees were fully transferred to ador. hybe has 100% shares on ador alongside bighit. the other sub labels arent
