@@ns9743 yes, that's there....Royal Enfield has become content that since no competitor in the segment and hence not upgrading since many years....now things will change and they will have to be serious to upgrade to better technology and featured. In that aspect I like Bajaj which really gives value for money , it's the only Brand which gives Liquid cooled engines on 200cc models...all other competitors offer only oil cooled.
Don’t worry about the drum brakes at the rear ,they have option for dual disc and dual channel abs for 9k extra

@@DEVIL13961 they have already stopped online booking on December 25th, they told we're sold out till September 2019 you can book now in showrooms only and if you book also you'll get after September only so you have options to choose dual disc dual channel abs

If your rating is high for Jawa, Mojo must be a hundred times better. Mojo is the only 'all-rounder bike' of South Asia. Few reviewers have done a proper presentation of Mojo XT/UT. Quite sad, it is fading off.

For some people like me who like to see an analog display and wants the dash of the bike as clean as possible with limited things and still want good amount of power
Then my friend;JAWA did the right thing because many people like to see the analog needle to go up rather than looking at a screen which in many bikes(like duke 390)looks like a mobile being stucked o

I heard that, for extra price, you can get the bike with rear disc with dual channel ABS. Strell please confirm it.
Strell, can you highlight your experience of Liquid cooled engines vs Air cooled ...which situations Liquid cooled will be valuable . Royal Enfield has all as air cooled even on the giant 650cc model, wheras other brands have liquid cooled from 200cc onwards.

Nice review. I think it will take time for jawa to get established again(dealership issues) as it has made comeback after a very long time. Moreover there are already better bikes than Royal Enfield in the market, still their sales aren't affected much because the feel one gets on Royal Enfield is very special (the dug dug sound). The exhaust sound of jawa is disappointing though it is expected to give a powerful performance.
Lastly ...which bike will you prefer personally, RE classic 350 or jawa 42?
Jawa lacks the feel of a retro bike in terms of exhaust sound. I agree on that. The plus points of Jawa on RE are refinement at all revs, top speed, maneuverability and pick up.

Jawa has some similarities to Triumph T100 the engine casing polish fender design the exhaust styling, but it's going to be a tough competition for Enfield bikes in India only.

On road price of jawa will be 2Lakh and only has 120kmph, no slipper cluth and slow 0 to 60 and 100. While Dominar has everything and fz25 much cheaper than this is much quicker than jawa. Is there anything particular for jawa to be such overpriced? Is it worth the money we pay?

The body posture, especially if the rider is short?. I'm 5'2 would I have to lean to reach the handle bcoz the tank looks long and the handle is wide
Expecting an answer
You might need to lean a bit forward to hold the handle bar. But still, you will be having a planted foot on this.
The Jawa (not the 42) has a slightly inclined handlebar towards the rider while also being narrower than the handlebar of the 42 which should help shorter riders. Definitely test ride the Jawa. It should fit you like a charm.

Dominar vs Duke 250 and jawa 42
Im very confused my height is 5'8 i want comfortable bike with no commited riding position...
All bikes are fine. Duke 250 has slight rear set footpegs.
Is the bike nimble enough to criss cross the busy streets? Is the turning radius lower than RE ? Are the foot rests comfortable for city rides unlike the RE interceptor which will be problematic for short riders often hitting it's sides?
