[S4] DIY FS22/FS19 Xbox gaming setup E4 - DIY Joystick and first buttons panel

Hey everyone,
This is the 4th episode in the gaming series about DIY Farming Simulator 19 gaming setup for Xbox One. #FS19
I will make it looking very similar with a tractor cab and I will build control panels for implements, trailers, etc, joysticks for loaders, ignition key and turn signals. #Realistic
Almost everything will be mechanical made so the feeling will be very close to controlling an old machine. #Classic
In this episode you can see how I built the first buttons panel with general controls (camera zoom, switch vehicle, menu and store, enter/exit vehicle, hire worker, lights control and beacon control) as well as the DIY joystick with embedded buttons to control the camera direction and most important the tools arm like frontloaders, wheel loaders, forklifts, etc #DIYJoystick #DIYButtonPanel

building a farm sim controller has become my lockdown project :) I have to confess when I bought my 28mm buttons a PCB to concert them to the PC via USB was only 10 dollars more so I bought it :) I bought two microswitch based arcade joy sticks with 2 buttons on each and 24 simple buttons. I am looking forward to building it :)

That's great to hear that some people are doing smth else than watching TV series! Good luck mate! Even though for PC should be much easier than what I have faced for XBOX, you'll see that every step is a challenge (at least that's how it was for me) BR!

thanks dude! I know lots of easier ways for PC...but for Xbox that was the easiest one I found...plus that I have used the controller for all the other buttons as well....Cheers!

@@wambydenis dude check out a video I put up cause with your skills and the method I used would be a perfect combo! With the effort you put into the wood work you could create some amazing designs

@@JMCreations97 looked over it but I still can't figure out how did you connect the joystick...it's an USB from joystick to adapter and then the adapter to xbox? overall for me is better with an open aftermarket controller (costs about 25E)...is cheaper than the xbox adapter and better to connect the multitude of buttons I have...

What exactly do you mean? The wooden joystick? Or this plus the 3 buttons? Or the complete setup?
