Thank you!! Love it! Your interpretation of the tones is well thought out. You're
translating A studio mixed and mastered guitar tone via QC .. One of the best channels and I always look forward to what you're implimenting
.. the various use of pedal parameters. ie: only the tighness setting of the overdrive .. or how to have a doubling effect w/ the dual delay .. It really helps when you can narrow down The real world uses of those parameters.
Regarding the person who previously requested the Iron Maiden tone and then again,
I'm the guy who asked for the guitar tone of EVH from the 1st or 2nd album .. and I use the Hagar Ear W/D/W preset, I am still pushing for the EVH Eruption tone!!
    Thank you!

Man, I'm so apprehensive about getting that early VH tone. People have been chasing it for years. And some of the tools he used, like the variac, army available on the QC (unlike Fractal, which has it). But I'll give it some more thought.

Another fantastic preset! Thank you, I’m learning a lot from your videos!
Having said that I’m struggling with dialling in good Chorus/Flanger sounds. I would love to see your approach to She Sells Sanctuary if I may suggest that 🙂

I never understand why that works sometimes but not others. They are from Amalgam, you can get them here: www.amalgamcaptures.com/ir-cabs

Dustin fantastic stuff again ! Quick question, is there a way to route the quad cortex using the usb connection into your daw without using the quad cortex as your main audio interface? I’m waiting on a new neve 88m from Thomann, I would like to use the two main inputs for recording acoustic guitar and my amplifier mic’s up . I’d like to use the usb as I would a plug in on my channel strip in Logic but I can’t view it . Thanks in advance and keep up the great work 🤩

I'm not sure I understand exactly what you are trying to do. You can plug the QC into your computer USB and still use a different audio interface. You just need to select the input device in your DAW (although I only have experience with Logic). Am I missing something?

@@davlavmusic7070 heres the reply i got from a tech : My recommendation would be not to connect the Quad Cortex to the 88M for recordings at all, but to connect it directly to the computer via USB. As the Quad Cortex works digitally internally, it is best to keep the signal digital to avoid any loss of sound.

That makes sense to me. Why go digital to analog and back to digital?

The neve has three methods of connecting from the each of the two front inputs, 1/4 inch, trs & xlr female to male , I was looking at the optimal way to connect it with my quad cortex, this will let me use these two inputs on the front for acoustic guitars etc, so the Imput must be the quad cortex and the output must be the neve or other interface in preferences in Logic , kinda weird but it works @@davlavmusic7070
