No thank goodness! you do not need to maintain the 4,000 hours of watchtime every year. You just do it once!!

My cpm rate is 5.1%. No idea if that is normal or not.
@@EleanorJosefina Wow, I think that's a well above average. But I know it depends on the type of content and stuff of course, so maybe that's typical for your genre. I think my average is only about $2.80
@@EleanorJosefina Oh I just realized there was a miscommunication, my click through rate is the same as yours and I think around 5% is pretty typical. I was talking about the cpm though earlier, like the amount you're paid per 1k monetized views
Ohhh gotcha. So I have my playback based cpm is $5.65. Sorry I misunderstood!
i think you need almost 50000 views in order to make $100 a month. I recently monitized 2 days ago. we have almost same subs. let''s see how much could i make in 30 days
