Hey thanks alot for posting this. My wife and I are in our 60's, and last few times we swam, we could hardly get back in til I saw this. Did the exact same thing and works great!!
I also see the pipe flange and the tie down hook on the gunnel. I know what that’s for and it’s a damn good idea for us older guys. Lol. Thanks buddy I’ll be doing the same on mine. Ladder has been ordered.
1/2" gas pipe, very sturdy and strong. 10" and 36" nipples. I use a gopro mount on top of them for filming, and I used 24" nipples for my spider rigs at bow and transom.
This here is what I need to do. Great job explaining. I need to move on this soon before my neighbors kids arms get too big!

Thanks. Glad you found it useful.
@@Dis-Sum-Beach OK I'm an older guy with M.S., balance issues etc. Is the pipe a "grab bar"?
I use them for my gopro mounts. My flanges are 1/2". FOR BALANCE AND Strength, I would go with 3/4". That would be strong enough.
Thank you brother
Add same ladder and installed it on wood platform.
What size pipe do you use and how long? Is it sturdy?
