What!? It’s not my charming personality !? Oh well, come back next week for Mythos Monday! A weekly Lovecraft discussion begins here! It will be ghastly fun!
That was the most random bookshelf in a bookshelf tour I have ever seen--but so many great books 🤣 The Shadow out of Time to Catcher in the Rye, to War and Peace, to a Lovecraft biography. I am a somewhat new reader to Lovecraft, but with what I have read thus far, I regret not getting into his work much earlier. Oh! the cabinet full of comic books. I somehow should have guessed that is what was in there 🤣 Great bookshelf tour!
Thank you for your insight,I am practicing Persistence as of now. On book mis, worth it.. P.S went to liber box domain (Historic horrorNails) Horror driven, very scary!!
Another booktuber has said The Last Cavalier is better than The Count of Monte Cristo. Before the booktube mention I hadn't heard of The Last Cavalier, so of course I bought it. Of course I've yet to read it. LOL Interesting selection of books on that bottom shelf.
Would've been nice to see some illustrations from the Solomon Kane book!! (It's the one I haven't got) Another great video. Quickly becoming a favourite booktube channel.
Sorry, I guess I didn’t show Solomon Kane! Darn! Thanks for your kind words! Remember to check back in for Mythos Monday, when I start my weekly Lovecraft discussion!
No, not everyone - I still have not read both the Catcher in the Rye and To Kill a Mockingbird since I never needed to read those during my school years 😁 But I have them on my never-ending Classics TBR. I'm always drooling over all your H. P. Lovecraft's books. You should do a video on your graphic novels! 🙏🙂
I was planning on doing a video on my favorite comic books but wasn’t sure anyone would be that interested. If you think I should I will! I can’t let Attic Diaries down! Thanks so much for your continued support!
My gothic romance novel '40,000 Words' is at a discount! It follows Adelaide Parabellum as the arrival of poems from beyond the grave causes her to recollect how she had met a stranger at a pond eight years prior. '40,000 Words' can be found by searching '40,000 Words Nicholas Leonard'.
This was terrific. (Autocorrect tried to make me send "terrifying", but i don't think the Lovecraft photo is THAT bad). Happy to have found your channel and look forward to viewing your past videos!
Certainly looking forward to your 'Top 20 Best Novels". It's rare someone has the guts to try and put together anything that acknowledges the objective quality of what is largely subjective media; so kudos to you for that. I suspect you'll get some massive push-back on it, but I've very interested to see what makes your list and how you go about choosing it.
I should have that one up in a few days. I figure I will get some pushback, but that’s okay! I got pushback on my completely subjective favorite comic book video, so of course I’m really gonna get it on this one! Thanks for watching!
Rare condition! I enjoyed your shelf. (thank you for showing me how to sandwich more books too rest on those others! Can you please tell me how you developed such passion for collecting. And are you the fastest reader on earth? You deserve your title. Mr awesome Book Man. The time to catch the addiction is now;during the uncertainty with COVID-19 and the other unruliness with the present.. Thank you for having charm and wit. A perfect combination to be entertained. (Can you just describe more on what happens in a cherished book for a slow reader who does not ride the wind! Many thanks regardless..
It’s so unusual to receive replies! It shows two sides to a connection. It’s incredible dynamic. When I was growing up there was war. I did not realize how the books that I had shielded me from what was happening. My enthusiasm for books was nurtured by my very smart English Governess, she read until her voice suffered from inevitable challenges brought on by both my brother and me. Books became a shelter. Ironically now, with the isolation provoked by a departure from the way things were. I am enjoying Les Miserable. Rich vocabulary with a penetrating style; takes me away.(just like when small I could not stop a world at war.. Your show lifts one by pointing to a world filled with everything to live for. I appreciate what you are doing for us. Your cheerful voice reminds me of when I listened avidly to what a book does. It moulds, transforms, delight’s and inspires. Thank you.
You’re missing volumes with Howard’s detective fiction, western, mountain man, and boxing stories. A LOT of his stuff is in hardback. You just have to track it down. There’s a Howard foundation ( or estate?) publisher that are publishing lots of his works in hardback.
I believe your HP. Lovecraft , and Robert E. Howard collection is what keeps bringing Me back.

That shelf is random to the point of embarrassment! And this bookcase is the neat one. I would make a terrible librarian! Thanks for watching!
Glad 2 hear your enjoying HP Lovecraft. 👍. I don't know why , but it makes me smile when I hear people just getting into Him.
This is becoming one of my favorite channels... thanks so much for sharing your collection with us!
Thanks. I really appreciate you watching!

Oh wow you’ve got some amazing titles there. A lot I’ve never heard of. Those Howard books look great. I’ve been wanting to read Conan.
I have that same problem: when I touch a book, I want to read it.
Another booktuber has said The Last Cavalier is better than The Count of Monte Cristo. Before the booktube mention I hadn't heard of The Last Cavalier, so of course I bought it. Of course I've yet to read it. LOL Interesting selection of books on that bottom shelf.
Okay, now I really have to read it!
I need to complete my Conan set (need the third one) and more of those Howard books.
Yes! You need those books! Thanks for watching!

I’m not that fast a reader actually, I’m just persistent. I read every day. Next to some people on BookTube I’m pretty slow.

Comic collection also. 👍
Please play cello for us! I really need to get to War and Peace.
It’s actually the Lady of Vaughan Manor who plays the cello. Trust me, you don’t want to hear me play!
Tomorrow?!?!?! That's impressive :)
Same Bat Time...Same Bat Channel!
We graduated the same year.
