Your collection is exhilarating. When you pulled out The Spy I nearly wept it is so beautiful. Hey, I’m sensitive about books! Dracula, Cthulhu, they’re ALL gorgeous. (Hi Ganesha!)
Everything is still pretty much the same on that shelf now with two exceptions. I gave that Dover Stories of H. G. Wells away. I sent the Knickerbocker Complete Sherlock Holmes to AJ Dunn and replaced it with a leather bound edition.
You have so many pretty editions! I love this shelf. I am reading the Three Musketeers for my March of the Mammoths read. I need to get busy I'm only on page 36. I have a way to go.
I adore The Three Musketeers. I've also read twenty Years After. I want to finish the D'Artagnan series and I want to read The Count of Monte Christo. Alexandre Dumas is awesome. I have an affinity with Mark Twain also.
Not a dull book in the bunch! So many incredible editions. Glad I came across your channel from Victoria’s tag. I really need to step up my game when it comes to classics, it seems like your channel could be the motivation I need!
You’ve got some great books there Michael. I have that exact same Barnes & Noble edition of HP Lovecraft. Definitely a must own! If you like Lovecraft, you should check out Victor Lavalle.
Dracula is one of my all time favorite books. But I still have not read Dracula's Guest and The Lair of the White Worm. Really loved that edition of Poe's complete works ❤️👌
Stephen King fans are always angry!! I have a bunch of Amaranth Press books I bought new a long tome ago (1985?) For like $3 a piece new. My memorry told me they were B&N books but a little research suggests they were sold by B. Dalton.
Hello, I'm new to your channel and this may sound like a stupid question, but, do you have a system for where you place your books? I noticed your Lovecraft books aren't all together.
I have Lovecraft on every shelf. I’m not sure why that is, other than my bookcase is as disorganized as everything else in my life. Thanks so much for watching! So glad to have you!
Broken voice + tear of joy: “Thank you” 🙏🏻
Glad you liked it! Thanks for watching!
Michael, I appreciate that you do not take yourself too seriously. Your videos are entertaining and informative.
Thanks! I try! I appreciate you watching!
One of my favorite videos yet! I can’t wait to explore the rest of the shelves.
You will not have long to wait, my old friend!
Oh crap - I’m going to go broke watching this video!
Haha, but seriously ... some great books there!
Sorry! Didn’t mean to detrimentally effect your finances! Thanks for watching though! I appreciate it.
Awesome video Michael! Can't wait to watch the rest of your bookshelf tour. Loads of great stuff.
LOVE that Cooper book, The Spy!
Some lovely books there Michael thanks for the tour 😁👍
You are so very welcome, my friend!

I really, really love that book! Let me know how you like the translation you are reading! I am interested in that one!

Those books are beautiful! I especially need to get a copy of the Jules Verne novels.
What a great tour!
Thank you, Michael!
Thanks for watching!
Complete Sherlock Holmes 👍

I’m so glad you made it here! Victoria is awesome and it was kind of her to think of me. Now I have to catch up on your videos!

I don't understand a word of Pynchon. It'a way over my head and I don't have the patience for it. Beautiful books!
That’s probably why I haven’t read that book yet! Thanks!
Throwing Cujo through the manors window😂

Dracula’s Guest is great! The Lair of the White Worm is....did I mention that Dracula’s Guest is great?
@@michaelk.vaughan8617 haha, that's what I've heard 😁
Impressive collection and tour
We need a tour of those so many other places.
I’m doing exactly that, going through the complete Shakespeare.
Love both of those Lovecraft editions 👍
LoL. I own nothing of Shakespeare. I honestly don't know if I've read anything by him...except back in the day at school.
Great video
omg... that's beautiful!
Thank you!!!
I read Roughing It earlier this year

A miniature of Lord Ganesha on your self. Looks you're very spiritual, or you didn't know it was him 😀

@@michaelk.vaughan8617 LOL Thank you for taking the time to explain. 😁
Our puny Human vocal chords are not constructed 2 say Cthulhu correctly.
Yes! Thanks for your many comments! I greatly appreciate your continued support!
Putting books on the very top of the bookshelf is so gauche. For shame Michael!😮😮😮
I am rather gauche. No shame.
