Right, following an abnormal deployment of an airbag from someone that was asking me here for help, I will be quite straight on my reply...
If are not sure of what you are doing, don't do it! Especially when working on airbag systems...
I can advise you to find the correct diagrams for your car, and go from there...
Or, just leave that for someone that knows what is doing...
An abnormal deployment can hurt!
Thank you,but i think with emulator you cant damage nothing, now the problem i know where is,just need to find the right cable to attack emulator...
Armir shabanovski
Well, some cars including Peugeot, have airbags connected in series... so, you can accidentally deploy them...
Anyway, you need to trace down the circuit for the airbag you want to emulate...
The emulator connects to the two wires coming from the airbag module...
Hi mate, I have a peugeot 206 gti and I had have the same problem... for all airbags is 3.3ohm?
Fernando Morales
Not necessarily... does live data shown the circuits resistance?
LM Auto Repairs I don't have live data :( you know it for 206 gti?
Fernando Morales
You need to try... it should be around that value anyway...
But have you scanned the car?
Which airbag is giving you a fault?
LM Auto Repairs i scanned and the problem is airbag of side... the gti have 2 airbag in the side, one of seat and one near the door
Fernando Morales
Be carefully, as they might be connected in series...
Between which wire I must connected the resistor?
Hisham Yousef
The two airbag lines/wires that run into the module...
Thank you for watching!
Can you fix my car? I have the same problem but I am not electronic. R u around London?
No, not near London...
Thank you for watching!
LM Auto Repairs do you have any electronic friend around me to advise?
@@xebbarkos
No in london... no...
hi , do you use a metal or carbon resistors
Ian Kelly
Hi
I believe these were carbon... but it was just to test anyway, as you have seen...
where did you connect the resistor which colors ?
+Wayne Azzopardi
Yellow and orange...
nice repair bro, is it using 2.3 ohm or 3.3 ohm resistor?
Farhan Yaumal
Hi
You have obviously not watched the entire video lol... as I mentioned that... Anyway, for this test purpose I have used a 3.3...
i think i hear it 2.3 ohm, lol my bad
Farhan Yaumal
No worries...
nice channel btw, its so rare to find some fixing like these, especially for peugeot 307 and in english, subs!!

Hi
Thank you for watching and for your comment!
Hi, I bought a set of leather seats from a 2007 sport 307 and want to fit them in a 2001 lx Peugeot 307 but the connections at the bottom of the seats are different. Can I cut the wires and change the connectors over?
Thanks
Possibly...
Providing you connect everything correct...
👍
I wonder are the old seat airbags coded to the ecu?
Thanks
Should not be... As far as the "new" ones are within the same resistance range, should be ok...
Thanks for all your help I'll let you know how I get on, i will be fitting them in a week or so.
Have a happy Saint Patricks day, grettings from N Ireland !!
