You can buy that same Compact and size but in a subwoofer amp gives you control of the Crossovers and the volume connecting to that is no different than connecting to your receiver. In principle it's the same thing
Dude thanks! My uncle handed me down a big enclosed 2 -10” subwoofer cabinet and I been searching how to do it and everytime they never showed HOW , they just showed a layout that I don’t have. You nailed it, now I need to buy the amplifier and I’ll be cooking! Super excited !
@@saleemzafer806 thanks for letting me know. It seems like they recently raised the price, back when I got it costs roughly 35 bux. You can literallly use any other mini amplifier or even another regular amplifier. There are similar mini amps online that are cheaper, doesn't have to be Maukey brand. Just make sure it has the same speaker and rca connections as the maukey. They also sell mini subwoofer amps online as well. I may do a followup video for everyone. Thnx!

I have a passive subwoofer from Sony 5.1 system that I’d like to connect to my Klipsch fives, currently my version of home theater sound. Can I simply power this subwoofer with a mini amp ?
Can someone help me? I have a pioneer multi channel receiver and an Aiwa sx-m55 front speakers. The speaker has 2 wires that can be divided into 2. How will i connect them into the receiver?
i have a 4 channel receiver 2000 watts or whatever the case may be. Does the wattage of the receiver have anything to do with my sub output ? Would my wattage go lower by adding all 4 speaker AND the sub ?

If it's an actual subwoofer box it won't because they have low pass filters. You can also just turn the treble down all the way as reassurance.

Absolutely! Try it. Always have the volume completely down when testing, than gradually turn the volume up.

I have a Yamaha Rx v 592 with a sub out but I have trouble connecting the JBL SB 5 woofer to it which is passive . Do I need to get this amp ?
