Super walk. Often visit from Bedfordshire having ridden my bike and Lambretta GT200 there from Walkford in my teens. Probably the nicest town in England.
Tx Greg. I had a GT200 many years ago - I came off too many times :) Lymington is lovely, I'm off there later today to visit my dentist :( I'll have a walk along the sea wall to see if I can see the spoonbill that was there recently. Tx for watching, I'm pleased you found it interesting. Best wishes, Rob
Enjoyed your video. I plan to visit Lymington soon, mostly to see where the old office of Laurent Giles & Partners (naval architects) was on Quay Hill.
Hello DBOBOC. I'm pleased you enjoyed the vid. Lymington is a lovely town to visit. I can't help you with the offices, I'm afraid. Good luck with your search. Thanks again and best wishes, Rob

Comfortable chairs in St Thomas Church explains the congregation - ageing, few members, flexible seating that can be formatted into small groups. A sign of the times.
Yes you are right I'm sure. It's interesting to see that some churches have adapted in this way and others haven't. I think I prefer the traditional seating but I'm sure that attending a service in St Thomas' is more comfortable :) Thanks again for watching and best wishes, Rob
Lovley town centre and great scenery of the harbour and milford sea has got a great pebble beach and quiet I came here in August 2019 when I stayed at hoburne naish and also went to milford aswell
Thanks Vanessa. I'm thinking of doing another walk around Lymington, to include the sea wall. I might wait until the school holidays are over. I'm pleased you enjoyed the walk :) Best wishes, Rob
Hi Vanessa, you might like this walk around Romsey (there's a Pat 2 as well). I keep meaning to do a walk around Wimborne. That might be a September project too. th-cam.com/video/7mBL-4hSRl4/w-d-xo.html
Thanks Neil, I'm pleased you enjoyed it. Yes, the 'crinkle crankle' walls are quite innovative! Tx for watching the vid and taking the time to comment, much appreciated :) best wishes, Rob
Thank you for the tour of my youth years. Greatly more boats moored now, but otherwise, virtually unchanged from my 1955 visits with parents, then living in the area. Cheers.
Hi David, I'm pleased that you enjoyed the walk around Lymington and that it brought back a few memories. Tx for watching the vid and taking the time to comment, much appreciated :) Best wishes, Rob
Thanks very much shes182. I expect you will see a change at the baths next time you are there. It is a huge 'fun pool' now with all sorts of floating equipment - it does look great fun. Tx for taking the time to comment, much appreciated. best wishes, Rob
Hi again Linda. Yes, there is quite a large sea water pool. It has been updated with a whole range of plastic 'games' to play, so it's now a fun pool rather than a pool for serious swimmers. Not sure how warm it is :) If you go to the quay and walk towards the yacht marina, you can't miss it. Tx again for your interest in my vids! all the best, Rob
Thanks Matt. Yes the wavy walls are very interesting, aren't they. I didn't know the background to them until I researched the walk. Tx for watching the vid and taking the time to comment, much appreciated :) best wishes, Rob
Now that is a place down South that I do not thing I have ever visited before. It does look very much and well worth a visit and I loved the old shops and cobbled roads. The harbour area looked great as well and I remember going to the Isle of White when I was a kid but I seem to remember going from Southampton, although, I could be wrong. Defiantly a place to visit if we ever get back down South again, cheers Alan
Hi Alan, yes Lymington is worth a visit if you are down here. We went to the Isle of Wight yesterday on the ferry from Lymington - a great day out. You may well have gone from Southampton or Portsmouth, they both have ferries. There used to be a hovercraft but not any more - we seem to have gone backwards on the transport front - no hovercraft and no concorde :) Tx for watching! best wishes, Rob
Nice VIDEO...Thought I was watching the History CHANNEL for a minute...I enjoyed this VIDEO...

Never knew there was an outdoor sea water pool. Must find next time visiting Lymington!

Great info, I've never given much thought to the wavey walls, now I can say when they were built. 👍

Lovely walk. I like the Harbor. Water is my element and it always makes me so happy to be by it. Have a great weekend.
Tx NF. Yes I was born in a seaside town and I miss the water if I don't see it for a long time. Best wishes, Rob

What a great walkabout! Love the cobblestone walkways and harbor views. Thanks for taking me along on this interesting tour! 👍
Tx Xander. No Edith this time, too many people about and no chance to run off the lead 😀
@@TheCountryTraveller I was wondering about that. How's is hat training going? 🤠
@Xander's Adventures Hat training not so good. The hat is a bit stiff. It is in the washing machine at the moment, I'm trying to make it softer 😀
@@TheCountryTraveller Yeah, it takes a bit to break in a new hat!
@@xandersadventures7527 Out of the washing machine now - definitely softer :)
