Jumbo Pass Hike With Dogs, Purcell Mountain Range, British Columbia - Rocky Mountain Dog

Rocky Mountain Dog presents hiking adventures with dogs, this adventure is a hike to Jumbo Pass in the Purcell Mountain Range, British Columbia. This hike is with my good buddy Kyle Toso with his dog, George Clooney and of course Butch (Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever Dog) is along for the hike as well.
We do a play by play of the hike and what to expect, Jumbo pass can be accessed on the Panorama side or Kaslo side, we approach it from the Panorama side, you take the logging road approx 20 km to the trail head.

- 805 m elevation gain
- 4.5 hrs duration
Can dogs do this hike? 4/5, yes absolutely, easy hike to the Jumbo Pass cabin, the stretch to the peak is a little harder, access to this hike is the hardest part but the road is good to drive in the summer.
