To me, sex and gender are different. Sex is something you cannot change. Make or female. Whatever chromosomes you have, that's what you are. However, gender is more of a construct or identity. Simply, it's whatever makes you feel comfortable and happy with yourself. I'm a female that identifies as a woman because that's what makes me feel comfortable and happy.
