I believe there are only 3 personality types: Alphas (leaders), Betas (followers), and Sigmas (loners). Although each man may have a dominant personality type, I also believe a man can be either of the 3 based on the situation. For example, I predominantly have the traits of a Sigma, but don't mind playing the role of Alpha or Beta if the situation calls for it. Please don't allow videos like this define u.
If you are looking at pattern of behavior, there are more than 3 classifications. Alphas lead and betas follow. They are both social. Some introverts don't like to follow because they have social anxiety. They would like to be part of the group but can't . A sigma seems to describe those that don't want to be part of the group. They're not hoping to be part of the group. They are things people. However they are not retreating into things to cope. They also don't want to be leaders unless they are subject matter experts in which case they are working on a the thing more productively, and make great battlefield generals in that context.
Its a spectrum, not an absolute. We do what we have to do to survive. I am predominately sigma too. But, if I see something that is accomplishing a cause I deem worthy, they I can submit to an alpha. But, if he fucks up I will tell him to his face. Probably diplomatically because that is the logical course of action. A beta would probably not do that.

I think that a major determinant is the experiences of a man. Until I go 20, I had all the Alpha traits. After 20 that I realised that world can be hard and after meeting many useless people I became a Sigma because I didn’t want to deal with many people. After Covid and after losing some friends I could feel becoming a Beta Male. I’m sure every man varies on 2 of these traits.

The trouble with these labels is that whoever came up with them just listed the Greek letters: Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta etc., right? Problem is each character in the Greek alphabet means something . . Like the Delta = ∆ Triangles esoterically mean Divinity.
As a Greek I just see it as number system because we still use the ancient Greek number system. α'=1 β'=2 γ'=3...etc so they use it in psychology and other sciences because most of medical terms are in greek.

That means the rankings is not set in stone on where you are right now. You are a Gamma right now but can become Alpha and you are an Alpha right now but become a Delta later on. It is a mindset.

I think the real messure of test is of a group of people use this ranking system to place you on where they think you fit this system. it's not going to be perfect but if you get a diverse group you can filter out bias observations and get a good messure. but a system like this is bullshit because humans are much more nuance.

I consciously pushed myself from Omega to somewhere between Alpha and Sigma between the ages of 13 and 19… 30 years old now and can say this “soul searching” made for quite a long strange trip figuring out this world. Very confident and happy in my body/ mind, career and life overall, but it took some “waking up”. So much of this is all about self confidence and living in the moment more… I regret letting so many years go by at the bottom of the hierarchy as a tall/ handsome young man who unfortunately just didn’t know how to fit in early in life

I have issues with this. I am 58yo, joined the infantry when I was 18yo, deployed overseas three times in war zones, my nickname was "lucky" because of my blood type (Ex combat vets will know why) married with kids, I have no urge to lead, am very comfortable with Alpha & Sigma males and because of my previous career I am not intimidated by them. I would say a high IQ person has the ability to move through layers (heightened ability to learn and adapt). A low IQ person (about 30%) have a stunted ability to learn, keeping them in one layer. Another factor for very high IQ people is that they are rare. A high IQ person may have trouble relating to other people. This could work against them moving through the lower layers. Finally all of us may have trouble quieting or focusing our mind. Just because you have a high IQ does not mean you are disciplined and can focus your mind. If your undisciplined and wasting your life you just have excellent knowledge that your screwing up...and no excuse...

I mostly relate to gamma other videos show the type in different descriptions (I was between omega and gamma), but one part about gamma I relate to a lot is... feeling invisible. It isn't just in my head I often am, people see me as a stranger (an aquantence in college actually said "howdy stranger" sarcasticly). People barely notice me on the few weeks there virtually every lass in the college of ignores me, slights me, doesn't even look at me. Rarely invited out for social ventures I must seem shy (I am a bit) or guarded. It's absolutely strange. It's like 90 percent of lasses want nothing to do with me, and honestly I just don't get it, I'd still say I'm decent looking as well, so surely I must get a tinge of interest? How tf can someone be literally invisible to most of them, it's as though I only give off a residual physical presence at best.

I would see being "invisible" as an asset. You can pursue your goals with less interruption and exhausting drama of energy vampires. Learn to have faith that things that are meant to happen will happen for you. Just be in the moment and enjoy what you can. Difficult times will pass. Women can read the energy a guy puts off. People are empathic, we just ignore that fact too much. As soon as you get comfortable being you and you put off that vibe of being comfortable, people around you will feel it. The thing is you can't fake it. You genuinely need to do some shadow work and forgive yourself for your perceived flaws. Your soul is a perfect creation. I think for these categories to be accurate, all 6 categories should be based on men with the same looks. Otherwise, just being tall can get you mistaken for being alpha or having your moms hips can get you mistaken as a gamma.

If you are looking at pattern of behavior, there are more than 3 classifications. Alphas lead and betas follow. They are both social. Some introverts don't like to follow because they have social anxiety. They would like to be part of the group but can't . A sigma seems to describe those that don't want to be part of the group. They're not hoping to be part of the group. They are things people. However they are not retreating into things to cope. They also don't want to be leaders unless they are subject matter experts in which case they are working on a the thing more productively, and make great battlefield generals in that context.

Its a spectrum, not an absolute. We do what we have to do to survive. I am predominately sigma too. But, if I see something that is accomplishing a cause I deem worthy, they I can submit to an alpha. But, if he fucks up I will tell him to his face. Probably diplomatically because that is the logical course of action. A beta would probably not do that.

I have issues with this. I am 58yo, joined the infantry when I was 18yo, deployed overseas three times in war zones, my nickname was "lucky" because of my blood type (Ex combat vets will know why) married with kids, I have no urge to lead, am very comfortable with Alpha & Sigma males and because of my previous career I am not intimidated by them. I love my family and friends and go out of my way to help every one, including workmates. Loyalty is important to me. I tend to be a bit of a loner (no social media and and can't stand shallow people)

I would say a high IQ person has the ability to move through layers (heightened ability to learn and adapt). A low IQ person (about 30%) have a stunted ability to learn, keeping them in one layer. Another factor for very high IQ people is that they are rare. A high IQ person may have trouble relating to other people. This could work against them moving through the lower layers. Finally all of us may have trouble quieting or focusing our mind. Just because you have a high IQ does not mean you are disciplined and can focus your mind. If your undisciplined and wasting your life you just have excellent knowledge that your screwing up...and no excuse...

Sigma have a special bond with their innerself, and that my friends is where their confidence come from. They don't care what happens in the world, there is always gonna be someone smarter, stronger,attractive. But they have inner confidence that can't be broken period😂🎉❤
I mostly relate to gamma other videos show the type in different descriptions (I was between omega and gamma), but one part about gamma I relate to a lot is... feeling invisible. It isn't just in my head I often am, people see me as a stranger (an aquantence in college actually said "howdy stranger" sarcasticly). People barely notice me on the few weeks there virtually every lass in the college of ignores me, slights me, doesn't even look at me. Rarely invited out for social ventures I must seem shy (I am a bit) or guarded. It's absolutely strange. It's like 90 percent of lasses want nothing to do with me, and honestly I just don't get it, I'd still say I'm decent looking as well, so surely I must get a tinge of interest? How tf can someone be literally invisible to most of them, it's as though I only give off a residual physical presence at best.

I would see being "invisible" as an asset. You can pursue your goals with less interruption and exhausting drama of energy vampires.
Learn to have faith that things that are meant to happen will happen for you. Just be in the moment and enjoy what you can. Difficult times will pass.
Women can read the energy a guy puts off. People are empathic, we just ignore that fact too much. As soon as you get comfortable being you and you put off that vibe of being comfortable, people around you will feel it.
The thing is you can't fake it. You genuinely need to do some shadow work and forgive yourself for your perceived flaws. Your soul is a perfect creation. Your human experience was intended to be flawed so that you learn through adversity. It's fine. Everyone deals with varying degrees of problems, even the most blessed among us. One person's garbage is another's treasure, etc.
Keep working on yourself, grow, evolve... You will have a rich and fulfilling life.

I think for these categories to be accurate, all 6 categories should be based on men with the same looks. Otherwise, just being tall can get you mistaken for being alpha or having your moms hips can get you mistaken as a gamma.
I grew up as an alpha but at my teenage I suffered a whole year depression which turned me to sigma ......I'm comfortable being alone.

Well a bit of a mix myself, I think men may drift a little between types depending on environmental factors and mental health mixed with genetic factors . The school bully type projected domance through fear but becomes a complete failure in later life is it because they are projecting a personality type they don't have they also fear being challenged intellectually they may of been Delta's. Some men are unhappy if their ex moves on but happy to date other women is this because they need attention??

That last bit about a guy being jealous and controlling of a former romantic partner, yet pursuing new relationships is a alpha turned gamma. I see this pathology in sociopath narcissists.
The alpha craves control and dominance. They are equipped with traits to help them in that endeavor. But, when they lose their mate for good, it shatters their ego into a million pieces and the poorly adjusted ones lose their sh!t.
Alphas are confident but when their confidence gets rocked it really damages them and their idea of who they are. They are quite dramatic and emotionally energetic. This motivates them to accomplish amazing things. Their beta support system keeps them on the level while the betas feed on the alphas emotional energy.
