Okay that revenant boss is terrifying
this was an ok game...but a port of seiken denketsu 3 woulda been EPIC
Invidente7 the gameplay was a boring grind, but it had an okay story. The way the number of levels extended between bosses felt more like a chore than a challenge. A port of Seiken Densetsu 3 would have been amazing in comparrison to this.

Most of the bosses in this game are cameos from Seiken Densetsu 3. I like that touch.

Are we okay about mana is kind of light, so its actually funny at 11:59 tess choose shado (shadow) instead of mana lord (light)
Okay I knew the first four bosses weren't the only ones as I had beaten them all, but hadn't won the game, don't know why the rest are missing from the wiki.
Children of Mana was kind of disappointing in terms of gameplay. Good story, but dull and repetitive gameplay and the way the number of levels extended between bosses felt like a chore rather than a genuine challenge.
Funny enough while playing the game I thought "I'd rather play SD3 right now, why didn't they port this?".
As a kid I loved it. Definitely a little bland though. Still a fun game.

THE 8 bosses in this game is clearly better than the 16 of the Adventures on GBA those bosses were the most bland I have ever seen on a Mana Game. Gotta Love them Boss fights.

I heard this game was bad when it came out. Was it really?
I mean for it's price nowadays it's quite fine. Can be a bit wonky with spacing but it's a decent game.
When I played it, it were quite grindy at higher levels.
Also summing by the fact all enemies gives 2 of exp when killed (3 with 50% more exp gem).
In terms of gameplay, it was dull, grindy and repetitive. They upped how many levels there were in between bosses, making it more a chore than a challenge. The boss battles and the story are okay though.
