Yo tube esta moto el año 1983 la moto era 1982 la compre aca en chile q recuerdos tenia 1200km estaba como nueva q moto para esos tiempos saludos a todos atte claudio rosenberg temuco chile
Being a little picky but the wheels are supposed to be gold in color and if my memory serves me correct I think the lower motor casings are supposed to e gold. Also, I think the seat is a recover and the screws on the pillion passenger seat are supposed to be chrome round head. This is the B, I had the C which had the metallic paint. These are a real classic and a gem to ride. Even for a sports bike the riding position is pretty good.
Yeah... Neatly restored... I was wondering about the golden rims... I'm from SA, I remember those bikes and shamely most of them doesn't even look near the original ...
Nice Honda classic - but camera guy, please stop waving the thing around and try slower panning. The RC/RD usually came with "gold" anodised com-star rims and engine side covers, as well as red coloured forks with anti-dive.
Agreed - and you are totally correct they came with GOLD wheels and side covers. We do not understand why the engine covers are Black ?Dont get us wrong - it looks a lovely bike - but would not have left the factory in this color scheme. The wheels look like they are off a CB900C or CB900D
small world man, had to click your chanel to see if I could see the bike, I think I found out something better, I think you and i are on the same page. You must know Mike enoch
C'Mon, what's with the silver CB900F2C wheels on it? That would have me suspecting the few other parts which were unique to the 'R - If you're into this particular configuration, then originality is EVERYTHING. If it's gonna be modded at all, then there are a hell of a lot of cool parts from other contemporary or near-contemporary Honda models which one definitely SHOULD upgrade these bikes. But silver Boomerang wheels? Heck, I've got a set kicking around my spares pile. You should at least have 'em powder-coated in gold, yanno there are guys on the CB1100F.net 'F-orum who would be able to very closely replicate the original colour and finish for you.....
Thats a joke color blue is wrong wheels fork lowers Black ? they were red as was frame engine covers should be gold and seat red etc very poor restoration ..
What 1983 red and white honda just like that but with only one single fat airshock in the middle . No coil spring shocks coming off the seat . Rear fork like dirt bike but is not . I got one read for restore . Do you know ? Silver rims . Magnesium or aluminum back forks . Got little radiator behind the front tire . Looks like 1983 honda cb1100 f supersport ?
This was my big dreambike back in 1981..it stood in front of the window @ the Honda dealer..

Not a RB as it had comstar wheels single seat etc . It's a F with R items added RC didn't have metallic paint RD 83 had that etc.
Even more rare, I converted my 1980 Honda CBX 1000 into a 1981 Honda CB1100R model without the fairing.
